At the entrance of the Feriendorf, there is a brown billboard. At the back are 3 beautiful routes. Haus Frei Wald is suitable for anyone who loves (winter) sports, nature and tranquility with facilities such as supermarkets etc. in the vicinity. Family, relatives or with the two of you? Minimalist, cozy, rustic and beautifully located on the high Dörnberg above the city of Zierenberg. In the immediate vicinity is an Icelandic horse farm and the restaurant Bergcafé Friedrichstein. Within walking distance are the glider airfield (one of the oldest gliding areas in Germany), the Wichtelkirche and the Helfensteine. The area is very popular for its great hiking trails (e.g. Habichtswaldsteig) and its juniper vegetation along the limestone grassland areas.

The 50 square meter wooden house is in a quiet location on the outskirts and was awakened from its Sleeping Beauty slumber with a lot of love for detail.
