Magic Mountain Cottage: family- & dog-friendly

There is nowhere quite as magical as this: an historic, creaky cottage, at the end of a farmers track below Cader Idris. It's a back-in-time experience, with wooden beams and antique furniture, owned by the same family for over 60 years. Please read all the details carefully before you book. It’s remote both in location and from modern life. You have space, fresh air and tranquillity. It's comfortable but nothing fancy. No TV or wifi, but a woodburner, books and massive views behind the cottage.

This comfortable, updated stone-built cottage is the ideal base for an adventurous break in the Snowdonia National Park. At the base of the Nant Peris Valley, one of the most dramatic in Britain, it is perfectly located for climbing Snowdon. The accommodation is great for one or two couples, or a small family. In our tiny village of Nant Peris we have a great local pub with ales, good food and an inglenook fire a stroll from your front door. Castles,beaches and adventures- Snowdonia has it all.

The Bunkhouse is located in a quiet hamlet and has a separate entrance keeping it completely private. It overlooks a meadow and the river Ogwen. A stone building now renovated and equipped to provide comfortable accommodation for two people. Bunk beds - linen - en-suite -towels -TV - Tea & Coffee. A fridge is available in a nearby outhouse. This turf covered cabin is a blend of Viking longhouse and underground hobbit hideaway. It's in a beautiful spot in our orchard between the mountains and the sea on our small permaculture farm. Experience camping fire cooking, and clear starlit skies, whilst having a comfy bed, a kitchen, hot water, shower compost toilet and a wood burning stove to cosy round if it gets cold. All on our sustainable ecological farm which has lakes, woodlands and animals to find and explore.
