Come get away from the hustle and bustle at the Crooked Cabin! You are sure to be comfortable in this spacious and unique space that is nestled in beautiful farmland at the foot of the Blue Ridge Mountains. 10 min to SNP! Sunrises over the fields and orchards behind and sunsets over the mountains in front of you create a magical and memorable experience. This log structure used to be a tobacco drying barn inthat was then converted to a cabin residence and has recently been thoughtfully renovated

Spectacular Mountain Retreat

Cottage is the guest house of our country home. Situated on a mountain with spectacular views of the Blue Ridge and access to many hiking trails; biking; fishing and swimming in private pond only steps from the door. Cottage is located within easy driving distance of multiple wineries, Sky Line Drive and Shenandoah National Park; Montpelier; and restaurants and shops. We can accommodate no more than one dog, with prior permission. In April 2023, we again upgraded our internet (see below).

This private cottage is the ideal location for visiting the Shenandoah national park, hiking, fishing, biking, wineries, and getting away to relax. This newly remodeled mountain retreat is updated with modern decor and all the essentials for an unforgettable mountain getaway.

Little House on Strother Run

Nestled between Mount Tom and Double Top Mountain and at the edge of the Shenandoah National Forest, Little House is the perfect starting out and ending point for a peaceful and relaxing stay in the Appalachian Mountains. Little House is located at the edge of our 7 acre property. You'll enjoy the bucolic atmosphere of our farmette which includes use of our shared sitting area on Strother Run. The sitting area is shared with the main house which is rented or used by our family periodically.

Shenandoah Stargazer with Sauna

Stargazer is the perfect place to get away from it all! The stillness and serenity of being nestled in a bird and wildlife sanctuary is so good for your soul. Watch the sunrise from a hanging basket chair at 2700 feet of elevation, or wait for moonrise and toast spectacular star views! Relax in the sauna after a day filled with hiking and an al fresco meal on the deck. Roast s’mores at the deck fire table or over the side yard fire pit. There's magic in the air at this mountaintop retreat!

Cabin at Rabbit Hollow

Charming log cabin nestled in a glen by the Shenandoah National Park is an ideal retreat for a romantic get-a-way. The first floor contains a beautiful kitchen, dining area, full bathroom featuring a whirlpool tub, and cozy living room with a wood burning fire place. The second level holds the bedroom with a comfortable king size bed and a half bathroom. There are two porches where guests can relax with their morning coffee or evening cocktails while enjoying the wooded and mountain views.

Peaceful Secluded Old Rag Retreat

The spacious one bedroom yurt is located high on a forested hillside in the middle of 15+ acres. Come enjoy a natural and serene getaway with all the comforts of home- a full kitchen (ie, all utensils, setting for four), a bathroom with shower and laundry, a queen bedroom, and a queen foldout sofa in the living room by the wood burning stove. The windows roll up from the outside and have permanent screens inside. There is also a BBQ grill, a separate firepit, and WiFi via satellite.
