In addition to its ideal location overlooking the climatic health resort of Todtmoos and the pilgrimage church, Schwarzwaldhaus Schönbühl offers a unique feel-good atmosphere. Originally built as a sanatorium, it was run as a guesthouse for decades. For almost 100 years, people have felt comfortable here, spent their holidays here and recovered. The apartment is in the small district of Karsau, which belongs to Rheinfelden (Baden). In an almost 200-year-old farmhouse overlooking our farm animals (horses/sheep/cat/dog/chickens) you can relax wonderfully. Basel can be reached in 20 minutes by car/train. Beuggen train station is within walking distance (1.5 km). Right next door is a children's playground and the forest with beautiful walking and cycling trails is a few minutes' walk away. Our Black Forest house with a south-facing location offers up to five guests a cozy stay. The border triangle enables a variety of cultural and sports leisure activities. I have traveled a lot myself, speak good German, English, French, Spanish and a little Italian and am always very happy about guests from near and far.
