Welcome to Villa Maria, our fairy tale guest house in a calm location next to the forest and with a vast garden in the village Lauterbourg in Northern Alsace, France. It's just 5 min by foot to the heart of the village with a couple of bakeries, restaurants, a grocery store and small shops, or 10 min to the beach & lake. It's only 2 min by car from Germany, and a perfect location for exploring the Rhine border region Karlsruhe-Strasbourg, or for a rest on the way when travelling across Europe.

In the heart of a typical Alsatian village, the apartment is located on the 1st floor of a charming house, very quiet environment between courtyard and garden. The apartment consists of a beautiful living room with lounge area and fully equipped kitchen, a large bedroom with a 180*200 bed on one side and a TV area with desk on the other, and finally a bathroom with shower and toilet. In the village, a few minutes' walk away, there are several restaurants and a bakery.

I would like to welcome you to my stylish and bright apartment on the 1st floor, in which I have put a lot of passion. There are 2 separate bedrooms, each with a large bed, plus a sofa bed and a guest bed in the living room. 1 large bathroom - shower + bathtub, as well as a dining and work area. Please note : no kitchen . Kitchen is currently under construction. Coffee+tea is free. Fridge, microwave, coffee kettle, 2 baby travel cots including bed linen available.

Close to Germany and tourist sites (Fort de Schoenenbourg, Maginot line, hiking trails in the Northern Vosges, ...), the house is located in an old renovated barn and has 3 bedrooms. You will love lounging in our heated indoor pool while listening to the birds sing under the magnificent cherry trees that overlook the garden.

Our Black Forest Lodge is located in the back of the property and was completed in August 2020. The house has an infrared sauna. We have lovingly furnished it with many great details. A place to relax. The property is located in a district of Bühl, very close to the spa town of Baden-Baden.
