The approx. 65 m² apartment is located on the east side on the upper floor of the historic manor house, which is gradually being reconstructed. Guests are welcome to use the terrace. A grill is available for the evening, and there is a fireplace. Via our orchard you can reach the Trebel, where you can fish, experience nature or use a paddle boat. Bassendorf is a rural idyll that you can reach via a 2 km long avenue.

Pool and sauna use by arrangement – perfect for relaxing after excursions to the beach or the region.

The apartment has its own entrance and garden area. 4 sheep and 5 cats inhabit the large garden. 2 e-bikes can be rented. Wood-burning stove sauna & hot pot are available for a fee. The village of Barlin is a very nice place to vacation with horses and a playground. Forest and lakes are close. We former Berliners live next door as a family.

We are located in a single-family housing estate on the outskirts of the small town of Barth. Shopping is a 5-minute walk away. Gastronomy is abundant. You can reach the sea in 45 minutes by bike and in 15 minutes by car. Travel time Ferry from the port of Barth to Zingst about 45 minutes.

Winter special: Ice bathing in the swimming pond with a water temperature of 2 degrees 🥶. The Alte Försterei is located in the middle of nature on the edge of the forest - ideal for enjoying peace and quiet. The apartment is very cozy and open. In the winter, it is particularly nice to enjoy the fire after a trip to Rügen or Usedom. In the evening, in the clear sky, it is worth going outside and admiring the stars in the deep darkness.
