Our B&B will be completely renovated in early 2025. The cozy space is very suitable for romantic peace seekers. You will stay in a quiet place, surrounded by trees, close to the center of the beautiful Gorinchem. Our location is a good base for beautiful bike rides and walks. There is a lot of historical heritage to admire in Gorinchem and the surrounding villages. In the heart of Gorinchem are a number of nice options for breakfast. Do you prefer breakfast at the B&B? Hay barn with charm in a traditional Dutch landscape

Along meadows with knot willows, you drive into a cozy village. At the church, you turn into a dead-end road. Soon you will reach a black cottage surrounded by greenery; our guest house "De Hooischuur". As soon as you enter the detached cottage, it immediately feels like coming home. And that is exactly the feeling we would like to give you. Our characteristic hay barn in 2018 is equipped with many comforts and gives you the opportunity to escape the hustle and bustle of everyday life.

Our B&B is equipped with all modern facilities such as a modern kitchen, Philips Hue lighting, smart TV and Quooker. The cozy veranda is complete with a luxury Jacuzzi and wood stove. The B&B with large private garden and unobstructed view is completely shielded from the farmhouse by a fence and is only accessible to you as a guest. From the Finnish barrel sauna on the adjacent terrace, you can look out over the picturesque city meadows. A delicious breakfast of your choice is optional.

Our cozy Tiny House is located right next to the main house and can accommodate 1 to 3 people, making it ideal for both short stays and a relaxing week away. Via the loft staircase, you can reach the loft bedroom with a double bed. Downstairs, there is a sofa bed available for an extra sleeping space. The kitchenette offers you the possibility to prepare simple meals. The tiny house is located next to a lovely garden with chickens, sheep, and a pond. Nice to relax and unwind.

An atmospheric suite with a free entrance, where once was the haystack of this farmhouse from 1878. The guesthouse has a bedroom with a double bed, a seating area and stunning views of the garden and surrounding greenery. There is a separate room for breakfast and a spacious private bathroom with bathtub and shower. Guests have access to the entire upper floor, with free access. There is no cooking facilities, but dining and takeaway options nearby. Suitable for two adults.

There is a large supermarket 5 minutes away by car, and you will also find several shops and outdoor cafés here. Here you have your private home with everything you need. Even though the cottage is in the garden of the main house, we guarantee you complete privacy.
