You will stay in a recently renovated 2-person apartment in a farmhouse from 1818. The apartment combines the best of rustic charm with a modern finish, including air conditioning. You can also make use of an attractive garden. The farm is located in the picturesque Megen with beautiful cycling/walking routes and excellent catering, close to the recreation area De Gouden Ham. Den Bosch and Nijmegen are also nearby. In this farmhouse, a 2/4-person apartment can also be booked (Hooizolder).

Hier kun je fietsen, wandelen, zwemmen, bootje huren, uit eten, bowlen, watersporten etc. De voormalige koeienstal is nu een sfeervolle ruimte met royale slaapkamer, inloopdouche, zithoek, tv, volledig uitgeruste keuken. Ons appartement heeft een prachtig uitzicht op de grote tuin. Naast de eigen opgang staat een tuintafel met stoelen om heerlijk in de zon te genieten.

Our apartment has a beautiful view from the bedroom over the polder and adjacent to the living room a large roof terrace facing south. In the morning you will be awakened by the singing of the birds in our garden. The apartment is located in the outskirts of Hanseatic city Maasbommel on the Golden Ham (400m), here you can bike, hike, swim, rent a boat, eat out, bowl, water sports, etc.

A golf course (De Schoot) and sauna (Thermae Son) are nearby. We live on a quiet street with free parking. You have a view of our private garden. Free WiFi, Digital TV and Netflix are available.

Equipped with a balcony and a roof terrace, you can make yourself comfortable in the 'chill-out lounge.' Our luxury apartment (60m2), in the converted barn of a beautiful thatched farmhouse, has a separate bedroom (double box spring) with French doors to spacious garden with seats and loungers. The apartment has its own sauna, whirlpool, shower and toilet. And a nice living room & cozy fireplace. If you would like breakfast or to use the sauna, we charge a limited fee (€12.50 p.p. for a luxury breakfast and €50 for the sauna for 2). Minimum stay 2 nights

Experience the Betuwe in 'Schenkhuys' Blue Room

Sleeping on the Rhine in our cozy renovated ‘Blue’ room and bathroom in a beautiful old dike house. Within walking distance is the Blue Room, the Grebbeberg and a number of fantastic walking/cycling routes along the Waal and Rhine. Also a number of cozy restaurants including ‘t Veerhuis (200m away). You have access to a large part of the garden with lounge area. And possibly in the morning a Betuwe breakfast in the garden or in the room.

Rural location, peace, space and alpacas

In the guesthouse you immediately feel the relaxing atmosphere. Through the use of natural materials and the view of the garden and the animals, you can really experience the countryside. Outside, you can encounter all kinds of animals, like a hare or a pheasant. And of course the chickens and the alpacas. On the lounge set you see from the guesthouse, you can relax. You walk right into the meadow to get to know the alpacas up close.
