A very special place in the city. A rural street that has existed for centuries. Cobblestones on the road, nature around the corner. The historic center of Alkmaar is a 10-minute walk away. The guesthouse (about 40m2) is in the back house with a private entrance. It consists of a spacious living room/bedroom with double bed, a small kitchenette, bathroom and toilet. Through the French doors you can reach the private terrace. WiFi and television are provided. Private parking. Renting a bicycle is possible.

Description Bed and breakfast In a Glasshouse is located in Oostwoud, in the heart of Westfriesland. It is a cottage-style home located behind our glass studio, in the deep waterfront garden. It can be rented as a B&B but also as a vacation home for a longer period. There is, among other things, a Grand Cafe De Post around the corner where you can eat delicious food and a pizza eatery Giovanni Midwoud that also delivers. A motorboat is available for a fee. Ook het strand, de duinen en Amsterdam zijn makkelijk te bereiken. Alles is volledig nieuw en van alle gemakken voorzien. De perfecte uitvalsbasis om Alkmaar en omgeving te ontdekken.

With great enthusiasm, we renovated our old Mansion and restored it to its original state. On the bell floor, we have created an apartment that we are now renting out. The house is in a lively neighborhood a 5 minute walk to the city center and at 4 minutes walk to the train station from where you can be at Amsterdam Central Station within 34 minutes. The apartment was recently renovated with a lot of attention and equipped with all comforts, completely for your own use with balcony.

Walking distance to the cheese market, shops, restaurants, bars and monuments but the courtyard feels peaceful and secluded. Good base to explore Amsterdam, tullip fields, old villages, dunes and the nearby beaches! The house was lovingly renovated with a new kitchen, a modern bathroom, and antique details for a luxurious yet charming feel.
