From your nature cottage, you can walk or cycle directly into the woods or over the heathlands of this most beautiful place. Bicycles are free and maps are available. Spot wildlife (such as red deer) and visit the many museums and attractions nearby! It is absolutely quiet: no traffic or thoroughfare. Practical: * Check-in from 3 p.m., check-out 11 a.m. (later not possible due to cleaning). * A car is recommended (public transport is not optimal). We do everything we can to make your stay comfortable.

A truly fairytale cabin. This cabin is situated on a small family estate (Dennenholt), in a beautiful forest, just outside a small village. The area is the largest nature area of north western Europe, called Veluwe, where you can get away from it all. The cabin is an old forest cabin turned into a comfortable suite. Due to its central location and easy access to the motorway network (6km), it is great for exploring The Netherlands (Utrecht, The Hague, Groningen, Amsterdam etc).

Walk/bike (for rent) through the Baarn woods, to the Soesterduinen, eat pancakes in Lage Vuursche, by bike boat to Spakenburg or shopping in Amsterdam, Amersfoort or Utrecht. I would like to welcome you to my unique location in the middle of the countryside of Waterland. Just 15 minutes from the city center of Amsterdam, and a stone's throw from picturesque Broek in Waterland, lies my houseboat. To reach the yard, use a small ferry to cross the Broekervaart. The ferry is, by the way, private property, and is only used by my guests.

De Boomgaard (The Orchard) is in the walled garden of an 18th-century house on the legendary Vecht River, where Dutch country life was born. The b&b is a complete cottage of great charm and comfort. Guests have their own entrance, with free parking a few steps from the door. They have their own entirely private bathroom and kitchen.
