Our popular "gastropub" local is only 100m from your door, and a well-stocked village shop with Suffolk-sourced produce and all the essentials is just opposite. There's a farmshop and nursery in the village, plus a children's play area over the road. Enquire for bike hire.

Ditch Studio is a self contained, contemporary extension to an 18th century workers cottage on the Henham estate ( home to Latitude festival ). A tranquil haven surrounded by a wild garden, fields and ancient woodlands.The Studio was crafted by its artisan hosts using sustainable and reclaimed materials where possible. The ground floor has a polished concrete floor with underfloor heating, a galley kitchen and wet room with a Moroccan plastered shower. Upstairs is the attic bed/sitting room.

Wrentham has a Nature Reserve for Bird watching and country walks , a hidden cove for you to enjoy sea and sand, two pubs, a cafe and a Chinese takeaway. Enjoy Suffolk , 5 miles from Southwold and a 15 minute drive from Lowestoft. Our bijou cottage is 200 years old and oozes character with wooden beams, low ceilings (6’4”)and a log burner. A stable type door , leading into a secluded walled garden. Explore the local area , go antique hunting, visit historical Suffolk or just relax.

Purbeck is a short walk (10/15 mins) into Southwold. Southwold offers a good choice of independent shops including ‘The Yard’ a newly opened waffle shop, Two Magpies Bakery and Mills family Butchers. There are plenty of pubs and restaurants to enjoy a breakfast, lunch or dinner. Beautiful open space with widened doorways for wheel chair users we can also provide a ramp and shower chair if requested. There are two village pubs which are within walking distance and a small shop. This is a great base from which you can explore everything Suffolk has to offer. Not to forget we are pet friendly

Welcome to 'The Pad' at Longacres situated on the A145 in the village of Shadingfield just 5 miles from the historic town of Beccles on the gateway to the Norfolk Broads. The Pad is a fully self-contained, ground floor annexe attached to our home and ideally located for a day out at the beach, enjoyable walks in amongst our beautiful countryside and broads and is close by to many fantastic attractions.
