B&B with Garden View in Stunning Art Nouveau House

Explore galleries in the Arts District and stroll back to a majestic century house teeming with original character. Climb stairs to the privacy of a second floor room with en suite shower room. Awaken when morning light peeks through a south-facing skylight. Breakfast is served at convenience in the Dining room. Public car parking in the street is possible but paying. Guests rooms are situated on the 2nd and 3rd floors. The 1st Floor is private. The guests Breakfast room and salon are shared, and situated on the ground floor. In summer breakfast on the terrasse is possible. The gym room is in the basement. Ironing is possible in the laundry room, near the gym, upon request. The house was built in 1909, and is located in the upper Saint-Gilles district. This is the Art Nouveau and Art Deco area, also known for its many art studios and exhibition spaces. Plenty of shops, restaurants, bars and amenities are close by. PUBLIC TRANSPORT The public transports for Brussels region are called STIB (or MIVB in flemish) and include Metro, Tram and Bus. SNCB is the national train operator Most Metro/Tram stations have only tickets vending/cards loading machines. It is only in main hub stations that tickets and cards can be purchased from the public counter. Tram, metro and bus are integrated with transfers allowed. Each ticket or journey on a multiple journey card is valid one hour, irrespective of transfers. Brussels residents use a personalised MOBIB card. Visitors use an anonymous MOBIB card, which can be loaded with 1, 5 or 10 journeys. It can be used by several persons, provided it is validated for each person and for each trip. On board a tram or bus, you can only purchase single journey tickets, but this is a more expensive option. ARRIVING FROM BRUSSELS MIDI TRAIN STATION Taxi from Bruxelles Midi (Brussels Zuid) train station: +/- 12€. You can also take the underground tram 3 or 4 or 51 respectively direction Winston Churchill or Stalle or Van Halen , and hop off at station Horta. Then walk uphill along the Chaussée de Waterloo and avenue Ducpétiaux is the 4th street on your right. The house is situated on the left side. ARRIVING FROM BRUSSELS AIRPORT (ZAVENTEM) Taxi from Brussels National airport: +/- 50€. From the airport, it is faster and often cheaper to take the train to Brussels-Midi. From Bruxelles-Midi, you can take a taxi for +/- 12€. Alternatively, you can also take the underground tram 3 or 4 or 51 respectively. See above for details. TO GO TO BRUSSELS CENTER Via MIDI station You can either take tram 3 or 4 at HORTA direction Esplanade or Gare du Nord, and step off at BEURS/Bourse (eg to go to Grand Place). Via SABLON / ZAVEL Take tram 92 at MA CAMPAGNE direction SCHARBEEK and step off at SABLON or PALAIS; from there you can walk down to Grand Place in 10 minutes Walking You can walk to town in about 25 minutes, via Avenue Louise and Sablon. Chambre d'hôtes à louer dans une maison privée, à deux pas des institutions Européennes, dans le quartier Schumann. La chambre est équipée de deux lits jumeaux, permettant soit de recevoir un couple, deux personnes, une personne ... au choix. Possibilité d'accueillir une troisième personne dans une petite chambre attenante. Une salle de bain personnelle est réservée aux hôtes : WC, douche, double évier et baignoire, sèche cheveux. Linge de toilette et draps fournis. Possibilité de prendre un petit-déjeuner, au prix de 8 € par personne. Par beau temps, il peut être pris sur la terrasse donnant accès au jardin, sinon il se prend dans la salle à manger de l'hôte. Le quartier est très bien desservi par les transports en commun ce qui permet d’atteindre les faubourgs et le centre ville en très peu de temps. Vous adorerez le décor élégant de cet hébergement de charme. Notre chambre zen "Le lotus bleu" appelle à la détente, au bien-être, au ressourcement. Elle se trouve à 10 minutes à pied de la gare de Charleroi et du centre ville et 20 minutes de l aéroport en bus , elle est dans un quartier sécure. La chambre est grande (25 m2) bien équipée (frigo, micro-ondes, machine à café ) . Une belle salle de bains privée avec bain, douche est privative pour la chambre zen. Arrivée après 21h30 interdite.

Détendez-vous dans ce studio de 40m2, unique et tranquille situé au 1er étage d’une petite maison, dans un ancien grenier à foin renové en 2021, au-dessus des boxs restaurés en bureaux, avec une vue imprenable sur le potager et le verger. Dans le studio : table à manger, frigo, micro-ondes, café, thé, eau, votre espace “chambre” avec un canapé-lit (simple/double), 1 bureau, et 1 salle de douche. Jardinet de détente. Sfeervolle kamer in prachtige, natuuromgeving!

Centraal gelegen tss Leuven, Brussel en Waver in de prachtige Druivenstreek! Het Meerdael- en Zoniënwoud, De Doode Bemde en de kronkels van de Ijse en Dijle zijn pareltjes van de natuur om te wandelen of fietsen. Kajakken kan ook!(Dijle). Ontdek de geschiedenis van de druif in het museum en beleef onze jaarlijkse druivenfeesten mee. Het bekende tramstationneke uit het stripverhaal van "Nero", Het domein Folon, de Leeuw van Waterloo, het Afrika museum.. U bent er op een half uurtje met de wagen.
