Groß Raden has an archaeological open-air museum with holiday programs and two restaurants. Fishing from the jetty or boat is possible. The Baltic Sea, Schwerin as well as Wismar and Rostock are about 45 km away.

The old and cozy character of the house has been preserved and so this property impresses with its timberwork, the bricks that have largely been preserved and its thatched roof. Restaurants, cafés, pubs, bathing areas and the spa are within walking distance. In addition, you can book 1 or 2 standups, if currently available.

Our cottage is located on the northern shore of Lake Plauer, with direct access to the lake. Cycling and hiking routes lead along the lake. The unique natural landscape is very impressive and offers beautiful views of the Plauer. Nearest place is Alt Schwerin. It is a small village and has an agricultural museum, a shopping oasis with bakery, restaurants and a boat dock for steamer rides, which can also be easily explored by bike.
