Our apartment in the village of Schwarz (Calbe/Saale) is part of an old four-sided courtyard in family ownership. Schwarz is just a stone's throw from the Saale Cycle Path and a few kilometers from the Elbe Cycle Path. If you close the courtyard gate, you leave everyday life behind in the courtyard under grapevines. Or you can start from here to the highlights of the region: Dessau, Quedlinburg, Harz, Magdeburg – but maybe just the next lake. Perfect for cyclists, families or to write your book in peace.

Separate accommodation with private bathroom

The place is conveniently located (on the L63). Bus station is 100 meters from the property. Parking is possible at the house. A bakery with breakfast is a 5-minute walk, while the city center is 20 minutes away. By car, it is 15 minutes to Dessau-Zentrum and 20 minutes to Köthen. You have direct access to the property from the staircase. Grill and fireplace are available in the garden. The Elbe, biosphere reserve, water crossing point and others offer many recreational opportunities in nature.

Cozy little apartment - arrive and feel good

Gommern is a small town in the countryside near Magdeburg (15 km). In summer, nearby lakes in the beautiful recreational area invite you to swim (free access). Long walks or a small bike trip, we have a lot of nature to offer and are happy to give excursion tips. The apartment (58 sqm) overlooking the countryside is located on the 2nd floor of a small three-family house (8 steep steps), 2 minutes' walk from the train station. Gottesgnaden lockmaster farmstead

The house is located on the Saale island of Gottesgnaden. Here the lock keeper lived and worked with his family. Today you can relax here on the 7x4 m terrace, make yourself comfortable in the great kitchen with fireplace, enjoy the river landscape, fishing, standup paddling or chill in the approx. 1000 sqm garden. The house is a single monument and belongs to the lock. The lock is in operation and is maintained and serviced by the Water and Shipping Authority.

A crib and highchair are provided. The apartment is close to the city center and the train station (each 500 m). City park with playground and indoor swimming pool are about 200 meters away. Free parking is available about 150 meters away. Bicycles can be safely parked in the courtyard.
