The house is situated in a suburb of Aachen, near the Dutch border in the heart of the Euregio. The village surroundings offer tranquility on the one hand and are ideally suited for an active vacation (hiking, cycling) on the other. The city center with the World Heritage Site of Aachen Cathedral is 8 km away. In a few minutes you can get to the neighboring countries of the Netherlands and Belgium and enjoy local specialties and the different flair of the villages.

In a quiet secluded location nestled in meadows, the apartment is located on Gut Bergweide sunny above the village of Lontzen in East Belgium. From here, the view can wander over the endless gentle hilly landscape. The location is suitable for both nature lovers and those interested in culture. Walking and cycling trails start right at the farm. The special moorland, the Hohe Venn is 20 km away. Within 25 to 45 minutes you can reach Aachen, Liège and Maastricht.

During your stay in this spacious apartment, you will relax completely. There is room for 2 cars in the courtyard. In the shared garden is a trampoline and climbing rack. The living room has a TV, and pellet stove. Bathroom has a generous shower. The kitchen has a microwave/oven + dishwasher. The home has a double bed and a double sofa bed with comfortable topper. Ideal for long stays are the washing machine and dryer. There is air conditioning on both floors.

Apartment "Aan de Hoge Dijk", located on the banks of the old canal dike, is the ideal base for exploring Maastricht and the beautiful surroundings. Our two-person apartment is within walking distance of the city center, caught between the greenery of the Sint Pietersberg and the water of the Maas. The apartment is suitable for anyone looking for comfortable space to explore the city and/or to visit nature.

In the middle of the hills on a continuous road is in a small hamlet our Guesthouse. A nice starting point for a nice trip. A relaxing morning walk and an afternoon city trip to Maastricht, Aachen or Liège are all within reach. Check-in from 15:00 Departure before 11:00 am or in consultation. No smoking or pets please. Not well-appointed for little children. We work with a key locker.
