The area is known for its good skiing conditions and great hiking terrain both summer and winter. With just over an hour drive from all Vestfold towns and Sandvika there is a short drive to the mountain. There is electricity, but otherwise simple standard with a swivel toilet and water collection from a crane in the adjacent cabin. There are refrigerators and gas stoves. There are three bedrooms One double bed, otherwise there are bunk beds. Bring bedding.

Tjøme is bike friendly and there is a bike path along the island and all the way to Tønsberg. A children friendly beach, a summer open bakery, and a cultural center is within few minutes walk.
