The Byre @ Nantygwreiddyn Barns

Reconnect with nature and enjoy the spectacular views from our hill farm in the Black Mountains. The historic stone barn has been sympathetically converted into two adjoining cottages. The Byre, with two double bedrooms and The Sheep Pen, a double bedroom with double sofa bed downstairs. Fully self contained with kitchen areas, internet, smart TVs, handy USB sockets in all rooms and bedding and towels provided. Guests have access to our 60 acres of land where we keep rare breed sheep and deer.

Convenience of good access, situated on the road leading from the village of Clyro to the famous 'book town' of Hay-on-Wye. Ideal base for exploring the Wye Valley, Brecon Beacons National Park, and the Black Mountains.

Close by is Brecon whereby access to the old Brecon and Monmouth canal and the ever popular Brecon Beacons national park are so easily accessible.

The Little Twmp Barn

The Little Twmp barn is set in 3 acres of well tendered gardens and farm land, just outside Bronllys. The property, is very conveniently situated, 6 miles from Hay on Wye & 6 miles from Brecon. Its slightly elevated position boasts spectacular view's of the Black Mountain's. The Wye Valley is very famous for it's Mountain's, Valley's and River's. Walking, climbing, mountain biking, canoeing, fishing, pony trekking and for those that love the country side, it's just on our door step.

Nestled in the foothills of the local Mountains, the bustling market towns locally are Talgarth 1 mile, Brecon and Hay on Wye are 8 miles. The perfect retreat to relax after exploring the area on foot or bike and is a great base to undertake other outdoor pursuits. Elaine will give you a warm welcome and will share her knowledge on the local area.

We offer a unique stay on our small holding where you can relax and rejuvenate while watching our flock of Clun Forest Sheep graze in front of you. We are ideally located for those wishing to attend Hay Festival & Royal Welsh. Also a great escape for walking and cycling enthusiasts with so many opportunities to explore our glorious countryside right on our doorstep.

Little Barn

Ideal for 2 people to get away to the beautiful Welsh countryside. The 'Little Barn' is located about 1.5 miles SW of the small town of Talgarth with fantastic views of the Black mountains. Ideal for a break whether it’s mountain walking, cycling, visiting the local book, food, countryside living or jazz festivals, or some peace and quiet to reflect on life. Has all kitchen amenities needed plus towels&bedding. There is a shower room with toilet and basin. WiFi and flat-screen TV.

Self contained annexe, Hay on Wye

This self-contained studio is the perfect location for cycling, canoeing, gliding, horse riding, fishing, wild swimming, and exploring the Black Mountains, Brecon Beacons and Wye Valley. A footpath at the door, with just a 5 min walk to the river and approx. 1 mile to the Offa's Dyke path which takes you to Hay Bluff. Very pleasant footpath/ bike route to the town . Bike storage on request, CCTV cameras on premises and free car park space provided.
