It is also ideal as a base for those wishing to visit the many tourist resorts in the area: Orta San Giulio, Lake Maggiore with Stresa and the Borromean Islands, Lake Mergozzo, the Ossola Valley, the Strona Valley, Valsesia and many others. La casa della volpe e il tasso is a delightful, simple accommodation option that offers all the comforts you need for a pleasant and relaxing stay. It is located in the picturesque village of Vararo, a hamlet of Cittiglio at an altitude of 725 metres. This option is ideal for anyone looking for peace and quiet, away from the hustle and bustle of city life. You'll find routes suitable for all hiking abilities. (We have chosen not to have Wi-Fi, and there is limited signal inside the house.)

From every corner you have a wonderful view of Lake Como and the mountains that surround it.
