Surrounded by the green hills and mountains of the South Ardeche, you will find this little paradise. In this cozy gite, you can enjoy the tranquility, the beautiful nature and the enchanting views. The three arched windows have recently been replaced by new, large windows. It now feels like you are sitting inside the view. In the morning you will be awakened by the bells of the sheep and the cheerful swallows. There is no rush here. A 10-minute drive to the Thermal Baths in Vals les Bains.

Formally a fortified castle “Fort de La Bastide “ was constructed on the site of a Roman military station. The earliest historical mention is 1417 and it's long history includes an invasion in 1584 by Protestants during the period of the Huguenot wars. The fort has maintained many original features including the old stone staircase at the front door leading up to a 4 bedroomed loft apartment . There is full access to the large garden including an 10mx4m in-ground heated swimming pool .

Very nice modern apartment with private garage,air-conditioned city center near shops,restaurants , historic center, 40 m2 on the 3rd and top floor(without elevator). Fully equipped kitchen (fridge,freezer,dishwasher, induction stove,oven,microwave, coffee machine,washing machine,dryer) open to the living room with storage , desk area,TV,an independent bedroom (queen bed) with dressing room, shower room with toilet. You can walk to all the shops in the village (supermarket, restaurants, canoe rentals) and all the services (bank, post office, tourist office, pharmacy...)
