Windmill Maurik Betuwe Gelderland

Our beautiful windmill was built on the remains of a medieval castle in 1873. In 2006 the mill was fully renovated. You will have a comfortable stay in the mill which is surrounded by a beautiful garden. Maurik is a charming village, very centrally located between larger cities like Utrecht, Den Bosch, Arnhem and Nijmegen. The area is very suitable for cycling, hiking and swimming.

Jan's renovated cowshed has 3 spacious double rooms. All rooms have a beautiful private bathroom with shower and toilet. The rooms are accessible via a hallway to a cozy, shared living room and a fully equipped kitchen. Coffee and tea are available unlimited. At pleasant temperatures, one can make use of a cozily furnished barn, which serves as an extra seating area.

Unique townhouse in the fortress, part of the Dutch Waterline and Unesco heritage. Close to Loevestein Castle, Gorinchem, and Fort Vuren. Originally built in 1778 as a fortified farmhouse and completely rebuilt as a mayor's house around 1980. Open plan living room with mezzanine and fireplace. The ground floor of the old ferry house exudes atmosphere and privacy. It is the ideal place to explore the Betuwe and centrally located between Utrecht and Den Bosch. The apartment is a dike house and is not easily accessible for a wheelchair due to the thresholds and height differences.
