With miles of trails, the Bluff is a perfect place for botany or photography or plain old serenity. Note: there’s no TV, children must be supervised at all times and alcohol/tobacco/etc are not allowed on the property.

Scott School was a Campbell County one-room school from 1905 to 1928. In 2010, Scott School was renovated and serves as a lovely tea room and quiet location for guests. The cottage is complete with two bedrooms (one twin, one full), central HVAC, full kitchen, and televisions. The road can be busy at certain times of day. The house used to be a one room school house in early 1900's.

There are 100 acres to explore, bordering the Jefferson National Forest, with hiking trails and just 2 miles from the James River. This would be an ideal place for family to meet if some of you want to camp and others would like a real house. There is a queen bed and a day bed.

Charming 2 bedroom 1 bath guest house sleeps four looking over the Cowpasture River on a 350 acre working farm. Guest may use of our concrete tennis court and explore miles of hiking trails that lead to the national forest. Farm is surrounded by over 2.5 miles of the Cowpasture River. There is a gravel beach right beside the bridge entering the farm where one can enjoy wading and swimming. River here is 3-4 feet deep depending on the season and stream flow.
