The bright and well-maintained 45 sqm non-smoking apartment for 2 people is located on the ground floor of our house. Our large, certified natural garden invites you to relax. It is only a few minutes' walk to the edge of the forest and to the starting point of "Hikeable Germany" and the adventure playground for the little ones is only 100m away.

Ich biete eine Ferienwohnung im Zentrum von Saalfeld an. Die Wohnung ist mit allem ausgestattet (außer Salz, Pfeffer und Öl) und hat einen seperaten Zugang. Alles Sehenswerte in Saalfeld kann man zu Fuß erreichen und es gibt eine kostenfreie Parkmöglichkeit hinter dem Haus. Gegenüber befindet sich eine weitere (1 Raum) Wohnung die ich auch über Airbnb vermiete. Bei Buchung der Unterkunft für touristische Aktivitäten wird eine Kurtaxe fällig. Der Parkplatz ist Kameraüberwacht.

In the middle of nature surrounded by the Franconian forest next to the Lichtenberg swimming lake and Höllental. Modern furnishings with satellite TV and fast Wi-Fi, 2 bedrooms, shared parking, pets welcome. We are the perfect starting point for hikes and excursions into nature. Welcome to the heart of Thuringia, in a beautiful, natural area with many hiking opportunities, nearby trails and ski lifts and much more. Our apartment is located 800 m above sea level and about 14 km from the center of Saalfeld. If you are looking for peace and time to rest and relax, you have come to the right place. We recommend that all interested parties and guests read the listing carefully in order to prepare for the stay and enjoy it.

Timber construction trailer

The construction trailer made of larch wood is ideal for a romantic vacation for two. While lying in the loft bed, you can watch the stars through the large panoramic window or comfortably drink a cup of tea in front of the fireplace. In the small bathroom there is a sink and the compost toilet. In the building for the campers on the premises, you also have the possibility to shower and use a "normal" toilet.

Within a 6000 sqm plot below the Veste Coburg you get a bungalow with every comfort. 3 rooms, 100 sqm, with kitchen (equipped with everything), two bathrooms, secluded terrace with large garden. Absolutely quiet and yet right in the middle of it all. 5 minutes by car and 10 minutes on foot to the center. High-quality furnishings. Floor-to-ceiling windows with a wonderful view of nature and Coburg.

A bed under the star tent! If you enter the yurt, you are immediately enchanted by the unique sense of space of this completely round dwelling. Unlike in the square rooms we used to, the view can wander unhindered here. You feel welcome, sheltered and somehow immediately comfortable. It's hard to describe in words what makes the fascination of a  yurt - you have to experience it for yourself!

Enjoy the distant view of the Franconian Forest if you are looking for a few days away from the hustle and bustle. The newly completed cottage has been lovingly furnished and offers high comfort, nestled on the mountain of the nature park. Numerous hiking and cycling trails invite you to sporting activities. A few kilometers away, you can relax in the thermal baths.

Very nice family-friendly place to stay

The quiet yet central location makes our apartment a good choice. In summer, our courtyard offers a unique flair. Use it for eating, playing, getting together & enjoy nature and the loving details that make this place special. Opposite is a butcher shop. Also within minutes walking distance are a supermarket, a small organic shop and a fast food pizza restaurant.

Forest Hideout

Our apartment is located in quiet forest surroundings but within walking distance to Sonneberg town centre. It is perfect for hikers and mountain bikers, with hundreds of kilometres of trails leading into the Thuringian Forest national park from our front door.
