The Pigsty

The Pigsty is Winchester's first luxury woodland hideaway, with beautiful views of Vale Farm. Less than 2.5 miles from the historic centre of Winchester, this peaceful retreat is perfect for those looking to visit the city, or escape for some peace. You'll love our modern light annex which is separate to our home nestled in the heart of this popular Test Valley village. With a welcoming pub and a community shop within walking distance you have the freedom to eat out or bring provisions back to cook in the well-equipped kitchen. Whether you enjoy walking (we are midway on the Clarendon Way) cycling, fishing or fancy day trips out, Winchester Salisbury New Forest and plenty of National Trust properties are all within easy reach.

Colindale Cottage, Nether Wallop

Located between the historic cities of Winchester and Salisbury ,Colindale Cottage is an ideal base for exploring the Test Valley and beyond. Stonehenge, Highclere Castle and the New Forest are close by. The coast is approx and hour away. Dogs are welcome. Nether Wallop is a pretty village in the heart of the Test Valley close to the small town of Stockbridge with its independent shops and eateries. Nether Wallop featured in the Miss Marple series starring Joan Hickson.

Peaceful private annexe with far-reaching views

The first floor annexe is accessed via a covered external staircase. Home from home, cosy but spacious one bed (2 guests) accommodation with living space and kitchen. The balcony is perfect for morning coffee/evening drinks (weather allowing) with far reaching views over the Hampshire countryside. The annexe is adjacent to our home but is entirely private for guests' exclusive use. We will welcome you, and can answer any questions but we will also respect your privacy.

This stunning country cottage is located in the heart of the Test Valley with its own patio and garden looking out to the fields behind. It is nestled in a lovely rural setting, with beautiful walks from the house, pubs and village amenities within walking distance. The cottage has luxury fittings, a wood burner and provides a haven for couples whatever age to getaway in an idyllic part of rural England. We are happy to host one well behaved pet.

A delightful detached two storey property in the grounds of Whitethorn cottage, in the picturesque village of Crawley near the historic city of Winchester. Secluded and quiet with pleasant garden views. Nicely furnished to a high standard throughout. Crawley is a beautiful classic English village with an excellent gastro pub, within easy walking distance. We will be available to offer help and advice on the many places to visit in the local area.

Detached, comfortable and self-contained annex for one person or a couple, in quiet surroundings with parking. Light, modern and airy. Easy reach of historic and natural beauty. Andover station 1.5 miles, London 1hr by train. Easy access A303/M3. I use this as a workspace and spare space for family when they visit, but also rent it out on Airbnb from time to time.
