The cottage is 120 sq.m. and was completed in spring 2020 . The cabin has very high quality with "Madsstova" from before 1850 - originally from Jølster. The cabin has 2 fireplaces, laundry room and sauna. At the cabin there is a covered patio and a boat and canoe can be purchased, but must be ordered separately. To fish in the water, you have to buy a fishing license. The cottage is located at Viksdalsvatnet/Hestadfjorden and in a great hiking area. Further up the valley comes one to Gaular Mountain and over to Sogn. In the opposite direction lies Førde with 13000 inhabitants

Jølster offers beautiful nature good fishing opportunities in Jølstervannet which is known as a very good fishing water. Here is great hiking terrain with marked hiking trails. From the cabin it is a short distance to the shop, golf course and Jølster ski centre. Jølster can offer cultural experiences, local crafts, art museum. From the cabin it is walking distance to Tindefjelle and Steinegga.

Here on the farm lives a dog, a cat and four rabbits, all of which are possible to greet. Haukedalsvatnet has good fishing opportunities and here is the opportunity to rent a boat, as well as fishing rods. Experience the international tourist road through Viksdalen. Viksdalen consists of many hiking opportunities, and experiences worthwhile.
