Halvardhytta - Fjærland Cabins

Cottage with astonishing view in tranquil surroundings. Short distance to the fjord and a rowboat is available during the summer months. The cabin has a mini kitchen, fridge, small oven and microwave. No dishwasher. Bathroom with shower and toilet, heating in the floor. Living room with lounge group, dining table and a cozy fireplace. The bedrooms are very small. Covered porch with outdoor furniture. Bed linen and towels are not included. When snow, you have to park by the road and walk the last 50 meters up to the cabin. Parking at the cabin during summer.

Thriving cabin on Holsen

Welcome to our little gem located right by Holsavatnet 20 min east of Førde in the direction of Gaularfjellet. Here you have a great starting point for hiking,fishing and not least swimming since the cabin is right on the water. If you also have the opportunity to borrow a canoe and kayak(quiet we require that you have a kayak class on- for your own safety.) Vests and fishing equipment we have available. Short distance to experiences both to Gaularfjellet, Jølster, Førde and Sunnfjord. Otherwise, there are nice stools close to the cabin

The cabin is beautifully located by Jølstervannet close to the E39 highway (this means traffic noise) in an area with scattered cabin buildings. Jølster offers beautiful nature good fishing opportunities in Jølstervannet which is known as a very good fishing water. Here is great hiking terrain with marked hiking trails. From the cabin it is a short distance to the shop, golf course and Jølster ski centre. Jølster can offer cultural experiences, local crafts, art museum. From the cabin it is walking distance to Tindefjelle and Steinegga.

The old house at Solnes Gard

Part of duplex on active farm. We are the third generation to run the farm after my husband's grandparents got the farm as a wedding gift. Here you get to stay in the original farmhouse from about 1950. We live in the other part of the residence ourselves. Cozy place, fully furnished and with everything you need for shorter or longer stays. We have 8 alpacas and many goats on the farm, you can join the care on demand and if we have the opportunity in a busy everyday life when we are in full work and have four small children.

From the house you can stroll down to the water and river, or follow the path towards Shirt (1470 meters above sea level) and several other mountain peaks with spectacular views. Eggjenipa, a popular hiking destination, is only 20 min away by car. To Olden, it is about an hour, with a short way to Loen and Stryn. Grocery store, gas and charging station are about 10 minutes by car.
