The cabin is located 2 km from the grocery store and about 40 km from the Sogndal shopping center and only 30 km from Sogndal Ski Center. Fjærland has excellent hiking opportunities and in the summer you can visit the Norwegian Book Town and the Norwegian Glacier Museum. Fjærland is also a good starting point for day trips to e.g. Sognegjellet, Gaularfjellet, Loen, Flåm, etc.

The old house at Solnes Farm

Part of duplex on active farm. We are the third generation to run the farm after my husband's grandparents received the farm as a wedding gift. Here you get to stay in the original farmhouse from around 1950. We live in the other part of the house. Cozy place, fully furnished and with everything you need for shorter or longer stays. We have 8 alpacas and many goats on the farm, you can join in the care on demand and if we have the opportunity in a busy everyday life as we are in full employment and have four small children.
