The town of Wehlen is located in the Upper Elbe Valley in the heart of Saxon Switzerland National Park. The tranquil health resort looks back on almost 800 years of history. The market house is a historic gem and is a listed building, designated as the first hostel of Saxon Switzerland. The house frames the market square in the reflection of the market church below the historic castle ruin. The vaulted cellars date back to 1527, while the main house was built in 1734 in the Franconian half-timbered style.

The apartment on the top floor is truly unique. It is located on the second floor and and the entire place has been restored to original building. The original roof wooden frame, exposed brickwork, original flooring, fully functional wooden stove helps you to imagine what people lived like at the beginning of last century. The main living area is facing the front of the house and therefor you will find a view on the town square, town house and the famous basalt rock “Jehla”.

In the garden there is a small sitting area. A grill is also provided. Wi-Fi is available. The apartment is completely closed and for your own use.

The property, which has been family-owned since its construction at the end of the 19th century, century, the family-owned property is located in the middle of the beautiful Elbe Sandstone Mountains directly on the Elbe and has three apartments, a veranda and a garden. The completely renovated apartment no. 2 is located on the 2nd floor and is about 40 square meters.

Close to shops, restaurants and doctors.

In Sebnitz, everything is within walking distance and the bus station is only 300 meters away. Great hiking trails start very close by.
