Our guesthouse in the center of Limmen has been completely renovated in Jan/Feb 2024 with a completely new bathroom. It is an attached apartment (30m2) with its own entrance and all amenities (AH, bakery, etc) 3 minutes on foot. The beautiful North Holland dune area and the beach (10 minutes), but also Alkmaar(15 minutes) and Amsterdam(30 minutes) are easily accessible. Parking is on the street and is free. You can use the bikes for free. You will receive a private piece of garden at your disposal.

Description Bed and breakfast In a Glasshouse is located in Oostwoud, in the heart of Westfriesland. It is a cottage-style home located behind our glass studio, in the deep waterfront garden. It can be rented as a B&B but also as a vacation home for a longer period. There is, among other things, a Grand Cafe De Post around the corner where you can eat delicious food and a pizza eatery Giovanni Midwoud that also delivers. A motorboat is available for a fee. You'll have a lot of privacy and the owner is happy to inform you and make it as comfortable as possible. The cottage is suitable for couples, solo business travelers and families (with children).

Het ligt op recreatiepark De Meerparel in de jachthaven van Uitgeest met mogelijkheden om te zeilen, surfen, vissen en zwemmen. De snelweg A9 is goed bereikbaar dus u bent zo in Alkmaar, Amsterdam, Haarlem of op Schiphol. Ook het strand van Castricum is binnen 15 minuten te bereiken.

On the ground floor is the hippest restaurant in Alkmaar with a sunny terrace on the water.

For nightlife, musea and city life the beautiful cities of Amsterdam, Alkmaar, Haarlem are close by. De beaches are about 30 min. drive

COTTAGE NEAR THE WATER

You will find the cottage on a little island called De Woude. It is a true paradise for birdwatchers, hikers and fishermen but if you want visit Alkmaar, Zaanse schans, Amsterdam ore you want to go to the beach you will be there in ca. 35 minutes by car. With a ferry you get to the island. The ferry goes back and forth all day until 23:00. Cars are allowed. their is a private parking place near the cottage.
