Just a 10 min drive to Jindabyne or 35min drive to Thredbo/ Perisher for those that like to hike, snowboard or ski. Otherwise stay at the accomodation and simply relax! Outdoors we have a fire pit, an infra red Sauna and a outdoor spa. Inside we have an automatic smeg coffee machine, fireplace, bath, large sofa and TV with to simply put your feet up and unwind.

The owners of the property lived in the Cottage while building ‘The Castanian’ which was one of the grand manors in Cooma. The country estate sprawls over 27 acres. The cottage & it’s garden surrounds are yours to enjoy but our home is also on the 8 acres. The cottage is completely private but you may hear occasional kids or dogs playing.

Good stopover point on the way to the Mountains or a base for walking or biking on the property or in the district. Mt Cooper Cottage is situated on a working sheep property. It was built to be the cook house for shearers in the 19th century, with historic significance.
