This memorable place is anything but ordinary. Just 35 miles North of New Orleans nestled just minutes away from downtown Covington and all the Northshore has to offer. Live music, fine dining, cycling and shopping are just a few of the many things to do. Your stay includes two paddle boards so if water exploring and sun bathing on the scenic Bogue Falaya sounds up your alley then look no further. Your just a few miles drive from the new public kayak launch that leads to multiple sand bars.

You are also 1 mile from Buccaneer State Park and can enjoy the wave pool. The heart of downtown Bay St. Louis is seven miles from our home.

This secluded 3-bedroom cabin has everything you need for your perfect Louisiana-getaway. No traffic, noise or people. Located on 220 acres adjacent to the Bogue Chitto National Wildlife Refuge, the property includes freshwater lakes, a beach, and multiple trails for a beautiful morning or evening walk. Guests have easy access to the BCNWR for deer, hog, etc. hunting, as well as canoes and kayaks. We have blueberries, whitetail deer and chickens supplying fresh eggs, when laying.

The Cottage is quiet & cozy, you can relax in the courtyard or play bartender in our new outdoor Irish Pub. For vacation or business, weddings, birthdays, weekends away, you can walk to our river side parks, concerts, festivals, parades, dining & shopping.

This home is walking distance to downtown shops, restaurants, the local coffee shops and Crosby Commons walking track. In the mornings and evenings, enjoy the covered front porch or the back porch lit up by string lights. Driveway for parking. Rustic country charm! "Chickie's Roost" is a two story apartment like space in a barn overlooking a farm and a beautiful pecan orchard. Private entrance, upstairs is an open loft with queen bed, full bed, futon, TV, sink, microwave, refrigerator, 2 coffee makers and bathroom. Downstairs is a separate space with Roku TV and a sleeper sofa. 100 Mbps internet is available for interested teleworkers!
