Learn about the city's history by touring Gediminas Castle, head to Cathedral Square and sit in charming cafes and local pubs and do walk through scenic parks to look out across the river. Vilnius is a great city! You are in the middle of Old town, central part of town, all entertainment is around you and in walking, no need of any transportation!. If needed better take an uber or taxify- it is cheap, good to go to airport as well. It will most likely be my mother Rose that will be meeting you and later on waving you good bye! She is a fantastic host, a traveler, former diplomat that has chosen to come back to Lithuania after more then 20 years abroad.
