Mollie's place was perfect! We were driving up from Florida after vacation and needed to stop on the way home before finishing our drive back to Ohio. Mollie was very flexible with check in, and there were no problems getting in. Less than 2 miles away from a gas station, small convenience store, and food. We had towels and blankets set out for us, hanging dried flowers, and handmade soaps. Excellent, quiet neighborhood right by a nature reserve. We felt very safe (important as it was just my daughter and I traveling.) Only thing to be aware of is there are no plates or other cooking appliances in the kitchen, bring what you need to prepare food. (not a problem for us as we were planning on takeout.) There is also limited furniture and had 2 folding chairs, a desk, and a side table. One of the air mattresses is on a frame and was more comfortable than expected. Thank you Mollie!!!

Checkin and checkout were seamless. The room was well equipped; good firm bed and had my best sleep in weeks. Friendly staff, decent breakfast. Overall top notch experience for me. Will stay here again.

Nothing special but suoer clean and close to thw highway. Being dog friendly made our travel that much easier. Highly recommend!

A great stay once again. This was my second time staying with my husband and three small children. We always get a good night’s rest here. It’s very clean inside and out and we are all pleased with the breakfast. Most hotels that are this affordable don’t seem to offer breakfast so it’s a nice touch! If you’re looking for a safe and clean place to wash up and relax with your family then this is it. We went during the Christmas rush and the hotel was still on top of everything and reasonably quiet. I like that a lot of the guests seem to be senior citizens or adults 30 and over.. in fact, 95% it seemed. Just means more peace and quiet for me and my family lol.

Great pit stop on our way to Disney. Guests should be advised that it's simply a motel advertising on Airbnb. Includes breakfast with waffles. No fruit when we stayed.

Very nice hotel! Good price, clean and cute. It was actually nicer than I thought it would be and breakfast is pretty decent! I was very pleased and we will be using this hotel coming back as well. It’s clean, seems to be in a safe and quiet area and comfortable. The front desk people are very polite as well!

Joseph’s house was perfect for my boyfriend and I. He was extremely responsive whenever we had questions and had everything we needed. The house was also close to town. Would stay here again!

Absolutely amazing. Allowed for a super late check in, made sure beds and pillows were ready, and let us know about things we could do on the property.

Perfect cottage for quiet time. This is exactly what we wanted. The chickens are very nice and the land is beautiful. It would have been perfect if the showers were hot, but overall, the space is very comfortable for two people! Very enjoyable and lovely stay! I would definitely stay here again or recommend it to a friend

Was very much what I expected. I didn't mind the lack of wifi, tv, or cell service, as it was expected there would be none. I would've liked hot water in the bath house, but that is my only complaint. Other than that, this place is such a great find, and a perfect place for a weekend getaway!

Wonderful place to get off the grid and enjoy nature. We were greeted by their goats and chickens upon arrival and they came by each day to visit which was wonderful. It was glamping at its finest.

This place is a wonderful escape from the busyness of life. I loved the friendly farm cat, the goats, the chickens....so fun to have coffee outside in the morning and enjoy something so unique for us (we've lived in town all our lives). Sitting by the river just relaxing listening to the sound of the water....such a great escape for us. Plenty of room for all of us (came with the in-laws) to have our own space and still come together to play games in the common areas. We just loved this experience...thank you to the wonderful hosts!

What a way to enjoy family and fellowship. This stay reminded me how important it is to unplug and make time for who and what matters. The home was so inviting. The natural touches inside and out made it difficult to leave. We had so much to do, we didn't have time to enjoy everything. We hope to return soon. Thanks for choosing to be a host. My family and I were blessed by the love you poured into this.

This space is warm & inviting, beautifully decorated, and perfectly located. My children LOVED the goats, chickens, and peahen, and found the bunkbed room to be a super fun sleepover location. My 5 year old enjoyed the little reading nook (& may have accidentally left a stuffed unicorn for future guests to enjoy, oops). We unfortunately were unable to fully utilize all the property had to offer due to the nature of our visit, but highly recommend the place for families traveling to the area. Our hosts were kind and communication was easy!

Maren is a great host and the home was beautiful. The house cat Ollie is super friendly and cuddly. The house was clean.

Great place to escape in nature!

Beautiful land, wonderful atmosphere if you’re looking to get lost in the woods and fall asleep to the frogs singing and pet some goats. I was really impressed with how cute the bath house was. Nice hike to river too.

We were able to book and get in last minuet on a spontaneous adventure. The host responded fast with little cell service. We pulled in followed check in instructions and enjoyed the beautiful space. The goats and chickens were so polite. They greeted us in the morning! Make sure you put away all food at night so they don’t get into it. They honestly were awesome to have around and cuddly. The camp site was clean and just perfect with a little fire pit and chairs. There was a bath house, and beautiful pond, the sound of the frogs at night were a nice touch. Ten out of ten would camp here again!

Had a peaceful time staying at your campsite! Had an easy check-in, and pickings of any site we wanted to pitch our tent. We then explored all the trails. Said hi to the goats and chickens! I adore them!The trails are lovely and well maintained, we even saw a bald eagle on the way to the river. Bathhouse is nice, thanks for the thoughtful touches like sample toiletries. Highly recommend.

Such a fantastic place to stay if you’re in the area. Hosts are more than welcoming and the cottage is stylish and sparking clean. If I find myself in the area again I’ll definitely be staying here.

The cottage is clean, charming, and well appointed. It’s comfortable and cozy. The hosts are amiable, communicative, and flexible. It’s about 20 minutes to Edisto, and 40 to Charleston — so a good place if you want to visit both.

Ann and Tripp have a secret hide away! We enjoyed our stay. Very close to Edisto beach while we visited family.

Couldn't ask for a better bunch of folks

This was absolutely perfect for our short stay in town for a wedding. Hospitality was AMAZING. Little touches showed they really wanted us to feel taken care of. We’d definitely stay here again!

I loved the animals and beautiful property. The host made us feel unwelcome though and it was my wedding day.

Maren has a lovely place in the woods, and if you love camping, this is a great destination. I was hoping that camping in SC in July wouldn't be miserable, but I've been wrong before. That was entirely my fault and not Maren's. The mosquitoes were ferocious, the heat was overwhelming, and blood as sweet and tender as mine didn't belong. But everything was exactly as advertised, and I have no complaints. I would certainly consider returning to camp at this location again, but during a winter month. Maren's response time to our questions was impressive. Good job on the Airbnb camping operation, Maren, and again, thank you!

Gathering grounds is quiet, pretty and has lots of space to explore. The bath houses are clean, and they're serviced daily. Camping is in the grassy area and not marked into spaces. Fire pits are scattered about and there are no picnic tables. It is a short walk to the bathhouse. We absolutely loved staying here we'll be back!

We were unable to stay and camp due to not being able to figure out how to check in and our child becoming sick but the property was beautiful and we will definitely be back! We were greeted by chickens and goats and took a little walk around- everything was so beautiful. We really appreciate the offer of being able to come another night instead of the night we had booked and will visit soon and bring friends :)

The glampgrounds were great, they really thought of everything. If you are looking for a spot to get some peace and quiet while enjoying the serenity of nature, this is the spot!

Dustin’s place is a go to for any group size. He is super helpful and available throughout your trip. I definitely look forward to visiting Ridgeville again! Be sure to bring some rods to fish! They are HUGE!

Awesome residence! We had a group of 7, and had a great weekend. Plenty of outdoors activities to partake in, canoeing, fishing and hiking. Definitely recommend for anyone wanting to have a great time!

Everything is as described. The beds were very comfortable, the place was clean, the kitchen is fabulous & they have everything you will need. We were there in the summer & we didn’t even need bug spray. The dragonfly’s, frogs, lizards, stars, fires at night & quite is just what you need to unwind.

This is an amazing place, we had a wonderful time around their fireplace and also had an amazing day playing foosball in their patio. The kitchen was fantastic better than I could have ever hoped. Dustin was super accommodating and responsive when ever we had a question. I highly recommend booking this spot.

We really enjoyed our stay! The buildings are clean and well kept. Fabulous location for hanging out with friends and enjoying the nice view of the river. We were about 20 minutes from a grocery store and 30 minutes from Summerville. We went into town once but I enjoyed sitting on the porch the best!

Really unique place with some cool features - close to a lot of cute little towns and Charleston. About a 25 minute drive to restaurants and shopping, but for a quick family vacation it was perfect and comfortable. Really enjoyed!

The Baymont was a safe, secure, convenient place to evacuate Hurricane Dorian. Before the storm we enjoy the cute town of Walterboro and the Nature Sanctuary.

With my wife & cleo (our dog), we went on vacation from Va to Fl. We went to sleep at the hotel. We were able to rest very well and the next day we continued our trip. Very recommendable hotel to rest after a long trip, very attentive staff, good breakfast. Thanks.

Easy access to highway, met stay needs, very great rest stop

Everything was as Connie showed in her pictures. We had all the things we needed to relax and have a great weekend. The only thing we might add is it is a ways to a grocery store, so have your food already bought so you don’t have to look for a store. The beds are very comfortable, so know you will rest at the lake!

This place is so great! We really love the location and how comfortable it is. Love staying here every time We visit South Carolina. Connie is great and always checks on us to make sure everything is good.

We loved our stay at Paddles ! It was nothing less than perfect....very clean, very accommodating, and very quiet. The deck was our favorite hangout for sure along with the firepit at night. Neighbors were great and very helpful during our visit. We will surely go back again and definitely recommend this property. If you are looking for noise and excitement, go to Charleston….. Such kind, attentive hosts! Both Josh and Maren were readily available for anything we might have needed. Really great space! The camper, Smokey, was adorable and the Pond House was lovely— especially waking up to the goat family outside the front door! Love the goats! We went as a small family but this is the kind of place that would be excellent to rent for big group gatherings as well. We may attempt that in the Fall :)
