With beautiful floor to ceiling windows, the view has sweeping oaks and mature magnolias, setting the scene for your Southern getaway.

The Rutledge Kitchen House is located at the southernmost tip of the peninsula in the historic "South of Broad" neighborhood and is surrounded by many antebellum mansions. Walk to the Battery, Rainbow Row, King Street, the Calhoun Mansion, the Heyward Washington House, shops, museums, and restaurants. Stroll to White Point Garden to see the sunset over the harbor. We are one of the few short term rentals in the historic district licensed by the City of Charleston License # OP2018-00159

The Garden Folly Guest House

Our architect said, “this is NOT a garage, it’s a Garden Folly!” Our Guest House has a bird’s eye view of the rose covered pecan tree and a vista of the marsh and the Wappoo Creek. When we rebuilt our 1930's garage we saved all the beaded siding and pine floor. My husband enjoyed incorporating many design elements and creative ideas. It was quickly becoming the Taj Garage. We decided it was just the kind of property we enjoy when we travel, so, Voila! we decided to share it with you!

You're a short walk to multiple neighborhood favorites (Avondale Wine & Cheese, Pearlz Oyster Bar, Gene's Hofbrauhaus and Triangle Char and Bar). Or a short 6 minute drive/Uber to King Street if you want the Southern Charm experience. You’ll love the quiet neighborhood while still having convenient and quick access to downtown and local beaches. Folly Beach is my favorite.
