First leg of our trip in Northern Italy and we have been conquered. Roberta and husband were on vacation, thus they had to leave the keys to their home and it is worth seeing, it is beautiful, spacious, comfortable and trendy. The kitchen can do everything, the bathroom is a delight, in short everything was really perfect, not to mention the two lovely small cats. The city is rather well situated for the Lake Maggiore. I highly recommend this place. First step of our trip in North Italy and we-have-been really pleased to stay in this house for 3 days. Everything in this house is beautiful and comfortable. I highly recommended this location to discover the Lago Maggiore.

Beautiful home with amazing hosts. Perfect for experiencing small town culture in Italy.

Roberta's house was the most beautiful house where we slept. It was pretty clean, and well-equipped. The breakfast was the richest one what we got during our journey. We went to the house by walk, it was approximately 15 minutes from the train-station. Roberta had just leaved before we arrived, but she text us, and always kept the contact. Her English was nice, we enjoyed the conversation with her in the night. Following morning when we departed we got sandwiches for our trip and she took us to the station.

Tatiana is erg vriendelijk, behulpzaam en reageert erg snel op berichten. Haar engels is erg goed. Het appartement is pas gerenoveerd en netjes. De ligging is fantastisch, met een eigen parkeerplek. Middenin het centrum van Sesto calende maar toch rustig.

The apartment is wonderful, very exclusive and modern furnishings and can actually nothing to be desired. Claudio gave us friendly and openly welcomed and showed us exactly. Very nice! During our stay surfaced problems were solved quickly and easily, and the communication was excellent. Absolutely positive were also the fast and mobile Wi-Fi and the already pre-filled fridge and pantry. Goodbye also still was a dinner together with Claudio on the program. Great little flat near Lago Maggiorre, perfect to explore. Nearest beach is very nice, lots of good restaurants in a small car distance. Claudio was a great host, very welcoming and available when needed. Definitely recommended.

ENG: Claudio is the perfect host. Upon arrival he welcomed us by taking us to a local bar near the river Ticino. Explaining everything he even insisted on paying the bill. Entering the lovely house he showed us a fridge filled with food and drinks he bought for us. The beach near the lake is more a field of grass near the river Ticino (which springs at the bottom of the lake). If you take the bicycles provided by Claudio, you arrive at nice places near the lake within 1k. The house is clean and beautifully maintained, with all devices you need. I would highly recommend both the house and host. Claudio, thank you for everything Jocelyne and Michael IT: Claudio è perfetto come padrone. All'arrivo ci ha portato ad un bar locale vicino al fiume Ticino. Ha spiegato tutto ciò che anche insistito per pagare il conto. Entrando nella bellissima casa, ci ha mostrato un frigo pieno di cibo e bevande che lui ha comprato aposto per noi! La spiaggia vicino al lago è di più un campo di erba vicino al fiume Ticino (che nasce in fondo al lago). Con le biciclette messe disposizione da Claudio, si arriva in 1 km al lago. Very cheap, beautiful and spacious flat. Claudio was very welcoming, friendly, nice and so well prepared. Five Stars!!!! He even provided wine, local liqueurs, abd breakfast as well as recommendations (restaurants, museums etc.). The flat is very clean, very modern and its situation is perfect. However, it is not exactly quiet. For us, it was fine. And Claudio is so, so, so nice! Grazie mille!

Claudio was very friendly and helpfull, he explained us everything and also had some tips for beaches/restaurants in the area. The apartment had everything we needed, even a small dish washer. We would highly recommend this place. You do need a car to visit the area, because there is not much to do in the town, but Claudio's apartment is a good location to start your trips. In the weekend we did hear some noise from the disco. The town does have some restaurants with unexpected good food, where you can eat among the locals.

Our stay with Claudio was excellent. We arrived later than expected but waited us. The apartment is very clean and well equipped. The air conditioned was very helpful. Also, the wi-fi is transportable (PocketCube) which has been very practical. We rented a car at the airport which allowed us to visit Milan, the beautiful small towns that border Lake Maggiore and we even went to Mont Blanc. Both Teresa and Massimo were extremely nice and hospitable. There was a little snack and some beverages waiting for us in the house, which we really appreciated as we came directly from the airport. House is even nicer than in the pictures and the garden is just lovely! There was no problem with parking our car, what's more Teresa and Massimo agreed to leave our luggage in the house till 5 pm on the departing day which enabled us to travel to Isola Bella with the car not stuffed with the bags ;-) Teresa and Massimo are really really nice people, they make you feel like visiting your own relatives and not strangers, if only I will be coming back to that part of Italy then definerely I will come back to them! :-) The location is great, as it is quiet close to Arona and 40 minutes drive to Stresa from where you can take the boat to Isola Bella. From the house there is just a few minutes walk to the centre of Sesto Calende where you can find something to eat and drink. I definitely do recommend the place! Very nice apartment. Beautiful setting. I asked to be pick up at the rail station and he came, picked me up and also took me back for my departure. Apartment was clean and had everything I needed. Only fault was the bed it was very hard.

Massimo and his family were delightful hosts -although we don't speak Italian we were able to communicate comfortably in a mixture of English and French. We were met upon arrival and shown around the apartment which corresponded to the description -if anything it is more homely and pleasant than the photos suggest. Massimo's family were very friendly without ever being intrusive, and on the half-day we spent in the lovely garden which looks onto the lake the children all got along well. Seste Calende made a good base for exploring Stresa and the rest of Lake Maggiore, including the spectacular islands. Overall, it was a real pleasure staying here and this was undoubtedly the warmest and most personable welcome I've experienced with AirBnB. We would definitely return and strongly recommend it to those looking for a peaceful place to stay.

Massimo and his wife are two lovely people, have always been friendly, helpful and ready to make your stay as pleasant as possible. Rarely in my travels I have met two more agreeable to their hosts. The apartment corresponds precisely to the description, it is warm and cozy, the shower is wonderful and the garden with its view of the lake is lovely. Excellent apartment near the airport Malpensa (MXP) Excellent quality / price ratio, there is a parking lot. There is everything necessary and even more - in the bathroom prepared plaster, aspirin, even all kinds of things, besides the usual set in the form of a shower gel and shampoo. It is located in a small beautiful town. Marco told us everything and showed - again, thank you! We went to the restaurant Tivoli in 15 minutes ride on his advice - excellent, we recommend! Ideal for spending the night before departure. Disadvantages, or you can say, features: - noiselessly, you can hear airplanes and passing cars. Use gags in your ears) - there is really nothing to do there without a car.

We came to the apartment 9 people in the middle of a heat wave .... the apartmet was very hot ... it had only a small ventilator . No air conditioning. After sending a messege to Natalia (who wasent there ) ,she arranged 2 new fans for the next day , which made our stay much better ! The apartment is near a parking which is usually good but keep in mind it is a bit noisy if you want to keep the windows open at night . All over it is a good value for the money and everhthing was as advertized. To sum it up it nice place to stay for the laggo maggiore area.

We have been welcomed by Natalia. The housing fits the description. The area is quiet, if not the passage of the aircraft. There is free parking in front of the apartment, which is very convenient.

Natalia and her husband showed us the comfortable flat in a total of 10 minutes. A site to park the car is directly in front of the house and their is space enough. Very nice and clean house with 4 bedrooms and two bathrooms. There is a kitchen with full equipments so you can cook yourself very nice italian food.

The flat is nice and confortable, located in a fairly quiet village with a parking lot right by the house. The village itself is not very interesting, but it's location is really good as you can easily go left of right of the Lago Maggiore and about 1 hour from Lago di Como. Natalia wasn't there when we arrived, but she gave all the necessary details to get the keys of the flat. The flat is as described on Airbnb : very practical! You'll find a 7/7 super market at a 5 minutes drive, and a Juventus fan-club bar 3 blocks away with a very "local atmosphere" which you ought to try when their team plays! :)

The house is situated in a very quiet place. In this case it is especially good for travelers by car. Located near Malpensa airport. In the short availability: safari park, outlet, lakes, the station and 45 minutes by train to Milan. Supermarket 5 minutes walk. Aside Arona bunch of different stores. Keep in mind only that the holidays, most of them did not work. January 1 is not working in the neighborhood 99% of shops and establishments. On ordinary days, from 14 to 19, all the restaurants are closed. It is for information only )) As for the house and the reception - we have only positive memories. We had a great stay at Tatianas place in Sesto Calende. Our appartment on the first floor was recently renovated and matched the images provided. It's just a short distance off Piazza Guiseppe Garibaldi and the lakeside behind it. Thanks to its fantastic location you can live the vibrant atmosphere of Sesto any time you want and yet retreat inside by closing the muting window panes. Tatianas appartment definetly met the expectations.

L'appartement est très bien situé : au cœur de 2 places locales. Le logement est beaucoup plus spacieux qu'il ne paraît sur les photos. Les chambres sont très grandes. Tatiana nous a parfaitement accueillis, d'un contact très facile, ... Bref, on recommande ! Petit plus : un garage est compris avec l'appartement, dans un quartier piétonnier, c'est plus que pratique pour laisse la voiture et charger/décharger les bagages.

Giulia's apartment is as pictured -- spacious, clean, inviting, and sweet. We enjoyed hanging out there. Giulia was helpful and in-touch in advance anytime we had questions or needed to update her on arrival time. There is not much 'to do' in the immediate vicinity (walking) but with a car you can explore the area a bit. (There is evidently a nice river walk you can do nearby, but it was raining the day we were there, so bad luck.) Giulia recommended a nearby pizza place (driving distance) and the pizza was very good! Internet was reliable, hot water was hot, breakfast snacks she provided were much appreciated, and there were movies in the apartment to watch. Thank you for a comfortable stay!

The flat itself is beautifully decorated (I adored several of the furnishings!) and about the size I needed it to be. It is within walking distance of the town, the shops and the river where you could sit and relax. Apartment bright and very pleasant with nice rooms. Very clean and quiet. Great location to visit the shores of Lake Maggiore. Very welcome to Daniela who gave us valuable advice for outings with kids and we even took dinner the evening we arrived at the fair of the church in their neighborhood with his entire family. Warm and Italian guarantee. Stroll along the banks of Sesto Calende very nice especially if you go have an ice cream at the Gelateria Del Lago (the ice melting chocolate is to die for!). We had a great time and highly recommend this apartment.

We are stayed one night in the apartment Daniela Sesto Callende. We have not been to Sesto Callende which we used as a starting point for visiting Lake Maggiore. Daniela apartment is very large (more than he parrait the pictures :-)) and very comfortable. Daniela was a very caregiver host, very flexible about arrival and departure times. She clearly advised us on places to visit in the area, including lakes go swimming. Great stop, excellent value for money. To recommend.

We had two wonderful weeks in this very nice accomodation. Everything was as described and very clean. Daniela was very kind and helpfull over the whole time. There are two parking places within a underground parking belonging to the house and also a free parking some meters ago. There is really enough room for five People; especially with the 2 bedrooms and the second bath upstairs. It was a very pleasant stay and we can absolutely recommend to spend some days or even weeks here. Thanks to Daniela for everything !

Elena and her parents were simply FANTASTIC !! L 'friend with whom I was traveling broke down his bike, Elena's boyfriend tried to fix it (unfortunately without success) and Elena's dad came to pick us up with the car camping 10km from Sesto! Kind enough !!! Almost embarrassing !!!! Their villa is magnificent! And Elena's parents were really comfortable! The next day, good breakfast and then Elena's dad back in the camper to drive us from Decathlon.riparata the bike we resumed the journey! What do you think?

We stayed in this villa only for one day. It was wonderful and relaxed. We met Elena's parents and they invited us on event which was held on city's center. Apartments were very cosy and comfortable. Angelica (Elena's mom) cooked delicious biscuit for breakfast. Everything was great! Thank you, Elena!

Very nice place to stay if you arrive late in the (EMAIL HIDDEN)fortable, nice clean room with own bathroom and airco. The parents welcomed us like their own family. While we don't speak any Italian, they managed to gave us great advise for the rest of our trip.

This was such a lovely home. Though we had a bit of misunderstandings due to the language barrier, Elena's parents were the best hosts, even walking us on the direction of a village festival that was just going on. The room is perfect and so is the bathroom and shower. The breakfast was incredible and they even got us gluten free options as we requested. The house is around 20 minutes walk from the town and it's a lovely walk. I highly recommend staying here

Alenas parents gave us a warm welcome which made us feel at home right away. They were very helpsome in all ways: helped with transportation, invited us to eat with them, told us about the neighbourhood and places to see. Being cyclists we could leave the bikes in the basement. It is a perfect place to stay if you want to experience the lakes.

The flat was just what I needed and Matteo was a very kind and helpful host who helped quickly with a minor problem.

I really appreciated the apartment of Matteo and your attention. Soon as we arrived we found one bottle of wine for our reception. The sister of Matteo, Simona was very polite with us and showed all things in apartment. The apartment is very clean and big, apartment complete to stay. Close to supermarket and restaurants, the train station is not close, but is easy to get by walking in 15 minutes. Very private and Matteo always showed avaliable for our requeriments. So if necessary I will be there again.

Very pleased with the reception. Matthew is an affable and courteous person as it is the mother who lives on the same floor. The apartment is spacious, bright and clean, also has a garage for the car. It is located about one km from the center of Sesto Calende and the Academy now AgustaWestland Finmeccanica. I was really good.
