I arrived at noon as agreed but the apartment was not available, was the host for the weekend and it was her younger brother who took care of the rent and lived in the apartment. After having wait twenty minute host arrives and tells me he can leave the apartment until 18h. The apartment is like the pictures but it lacks a bit of soul. The bedding was not comfortable and I had to get my own bed linen because AC had not been changed. The elevator is blocked since returning in very poor condition. Young very nice man but it simply lacks experience in the luxury to give its tenants.

Alexandra is a very welcoming host. In all aspects she made me feel at home and provided all the comfort you can expect.

Alexandra was very good in communication and very accommodating. It was lovely to meet her family. My girlfriend adores cats so Alexandra 's two siemese cats were an added bonus. Her place is very close to metro and so it is very easy to get to Lille center .

Alexandra is a warm and welcoming host. The room is very nice and is in a beautiful house typical of the region. I highly recommend!

Alexandra, Vincent, Louis & Margaux (not forgetting Emir !) were fantastic, exceptional hosts !! ..... WOW - what an experience, a fantastic location, a fantastic home and absolutely an amazing family ! The home itself was extremely large, very very clean and resonated a warm, lovely atmosphere at all times !!..... Alexandra and Vincent are extremely intelligent, can speak every language under the sun and are an engaging couple that are knowledgeable, warm and easy to talk to. They don't hesitate to go that "extra mile" to make your stay enjoyable and one to remember...... The kids are unbelievable too, and if you have a VW T5 Van or are a fan of Shaun The Sheep, Louis will be a friend for life !! Don't worry if you can only speak English - even though they are only 4 & 2, the kids will speak better English than your French (amazing) !! ..... We could not have had a more enjoyable stay - we will be back !!..... If you are thinking of going to Roubaix or Lille for a visit do not hesitate to stay here you will NOT be disappointed. Highly, highly recommended...... If it was rated out of 100 stars I would rate it 100 stars...... Enjoy !!

Very spacious bedroom in a lovely house. Alexandra and her family were a pleasure to stay with, very helpful with directions around the city. Also speaks excellent English! I highly recommend staying here.

I could not hope for a more pleasant experience, warm and comfortable that I found in Alexandra and Vincent. My travel plan was difficult (arriving late at night and leaving early in the morning), but there was no problem accommodating my needs. They spoke perfect English with me, if Alexandra assured me that my French was terrible not bad at all. I felt at home immediately, and the house was pretty good location to allow me to walk to the center of the city and take the subway when I wanted a quick trip to Lille. I love cats, and theirs are lovely, as are the children of the house. The room was spacious, comfortable, quiet and private, with its own sink and a beautiful view of the typical houses of the region. If I ever have to travel in Roubaix again, I will definitely try to stay with Alexandra and Vincent.

When I arrived, the first thing came to me is this family's hospitality and honesty. That did let me settle down immediately and feel relaxed after a long traveling. They also satisfy all my needs such as kitchen usage and touring information. Most importantly, they give me many unforgettable memories in there. Therefore, if you are still thinking. Please don't hesitate, just choose this one.

The accommodation is in compliance with photos on the website. We were greeted by Alexandra and her husband as if we were home. Great communication! The house is very nice and quiet, everything was clean. An excellent address in Roubaix!
