One word. Perfect! This BNB is reached by a scenic and well worth drive through the Italian countryside. Plan extra time to get there as you will want to stop and take pictures along the way. We got caught up in Venice and had to delay our arrival and Marina replied with "Take your time YOU are on vacation, don't rush" When we arrived, Marina and her husband were waiting for us, they spoke good English and welcomed us in to the first floor (EUR 1st floor). On this level is the BNB. There are three rooms, a TV room, a common shower and a breakfast area. Our two rooms each had a shower in the room, but for expediency, we could have used the common shower as well. The rooms each had locking doors and were well furnished. Marina was available the whole time but did not intrude. She even gave us directions to a nearby restaurant that was open on a Sunday night, a rare find. She then assisted us to zero in on it until we arrived. Outstanding assistance as well as an outstanding restaurant. Back to the BNB, above it is the communal park with free WIFI. This park is by the village center which is well worth a walk around it (10-15 min). Everything about this place was nice. We stayed because it was a short drive (15 min) to San Marino. If we were ever to return to Italy, this would definitely be a return spot. The kitchen had a good selection of organic yogurt, tea, jams, and pastries. This was a pleasant surprise for us as we eat organic. Marina also kept the kitchen well stocked through out the day. Upon departure, we hung the keys on the rack by the door and left. I highly recommend this BNB for anyone travelling through the area.

Siamo stati benissimo in questa piccola depandance immersa nel verde. Gli ospiti sono molto cordiali e la casa è fornita di tutto quello di cui avevamo bisogno. Sicuramente torneremo durante la stagione estiva, con la piscina aperta!

I felt very welcome at the farm and Louisa met me nearby so I could follow and know the way to the farm after that. Francesco and Louisa are warm and friendly folks. For me the room was quiet and I didn't hear the neighbors when they were home. I didn't know much Italian but we were able to communicate well enough. I didn't get a tour of the farm but I walked it more than once and their doggies would come with me on my treks. It is such a nice place. They have about 12 acres. I participated in a homemade pasta dinner and along with other guests got to watch Louisa make fresh tagliatelle and the dinner was delicious. Had some of their wine and liquors and got to see the basement cellar. It was a good location as a base to visit other Etruscan hill towns. The only thing I missed was soap and shampoo for the bathroom. It isn't listed as being provided so come prepared. I would stay with Francesco and Louisa at Cimbolello again!
