Nice house to relax. The view is beautiful and the cottage cozy and comfortable. Bouwe has received us and explained everything. There was a breakfast ready for the next day and a bottle of wine. There were candles present so you could make it cozy in the evening. The fireplace is also very cozy! Bouwe's lovely cat also came to say hello

This cozy beautiful house definitely matches the pictures. We thought it was perfect for a few nice days away. We enjoyed all the peace and privacy. On arrival there were already some tasty things ready for breakfast. Top cared for!

Perfect little hideout to isolate for a couple of days from the busy everyday life. The big windows allow to stay in the warm but have a great view in the nature. Bouwe was a very responsive and helpful but also very much gave us privacy :)

This place is amazing with the historical meaning, and the amenities this place has to offer. Giethoorn is probably the most beautiful place I’ve seen (and I travel a lot), and it is truly peaceful and tranquil. Parking was easy to find and Willem’s directions to the house was as he said. We crossed the bridge and he met us there. There is a supermarket outside on the main road which was nice. The restaurant at the end of the road was good and was a few minutes to walk back. I recommend this place to anyone and I will be back!

We stayed at Willem's place for a weekend away, as we wanted to spend a nice and quiet time discovering Giethoorn. The house is perfectly suited for around 5 guests and has everything you need, including a dishwasher and two bathrooms / toilets. Everything was clean and tidy. Willem was friendly and helpful.

Great stay in a prime location!

We had a wonderful weekend in Willem's beautiful farm. It is immediately that 'home feeling'. Everything is abundantly present in the house: from towels to matches and dishwasher cubes. It was wonderfully warm. Really a house with a story. Thanks for pleasantly relaxing.

Very comfortable and welcoming room. The first time I stayed in a bed and breakfast with a loft, it was really special. The piano, billiards, and living room are very comfortable, and the kitchen is everything. We cooked hot pot and it was delicious.

An extremely suitable location to enjoy the unique village and location together, the authentic home and furnishings, the beautiful nature, the overwhelming tranquility (outside of the New Year events), the friendly neighborhood. Really nothing to complain about. Willem is ready for you if necessary, and that is always reassuring. We had a great end to 2019, and had a good start to 2020 together.

Second time a weekend away in the beautiful clean and spacious home of Alex. Every time we have a party in Friesland we choose this stay. Beautiful surroundings. Good choice.

We had a few nice days. It is a nice house, where all the necessities are present. Everything neatly cleaned up. We immediately felt at home. Also nice that you can bring your own bedding. Quiet park. Super view. We will gladly go back again!

And nice spacious house with many amenities, even different spices, pepper, salt etc are available! Comfortable beds and wonderful couches and chairs (and wonderful fireplace)!

Everything was very clean and tidy. The house was well equipped and our one year old twins could not seriously hurt anywhere. Unfortunately we were unlucky with the weather, so I can not say much about the surrounding area. Nevertheless, always happy.

We found a nice clean house well equipped in the evening we played volleyball and table tennis and bike rides, it is good everywhere with the car, for example Dinoland, Swimfun was great.

Perfect place for a summer vacation.

Wonderful place to stay in a very beautiful area. Beautifully situated with beautiful views over fields and forests. Ideal for walking trips, running kilometers and cycling trips. Nice area. Very nice that there were also 3 bikes available and a game box. We ate a lot outside while enjoying the beautiful view. The cottage itself was spacious and equipped with everything! Our boys found the box bed a nice place to sleep. Highly recommended!

The Alex's house was the best choice! It is beautiful, very good located, in a quiet aria, fully echiped and clean and it offer a lot of opportunities. To visit Amsterdam or the wonderful Giethoorn or Steenwijk or to enjoy Sondel with bike. Thank you, Alex!

Charming cottage not far from Giethoorn. Stylishly appointed and brand new feeling, it’s a wonderful place to call home for a long weekend in the country. We look forward to returning soon.

Incredibly cozy, cute comfortable accommodation that has everything you need for a relaxing weekend. The jacuzzi is big and very enjoyable. The hosts are relaxed and welcoming. Plenty of cute villages around to stroll through.

Herman's cottage is really magical! Lovingly furnished with an atmosphere of wellbeing. A highlight is definitely the outdoor whirlpool, which is also wonderful for relaxing in winter. The property is in a very quiet area, but still very easy to reach by car. The nature reserve is right outside the door and is ideal for walks. We had a few great days and would recommend the house anytime. A stay there with four people is ideal, even if there are sleeping facilities for six people.

Wonderful place to unwind. Welcoming landlords and stylish house. Jacuzzi of course also a big plus. Fun things to do in the area and a good restaurant within walking distance. We would like to come back again!

Beautiful house, lots of details, you really only have to bring your own things, everything is there. that is wonderful. Beautiful location. Nice to sit in the hot tub, it took a while before it was warm, but the filling and heating process is also quite nice. The Kitchen is the place to be in the house, delicious endless dining.

The house is a dream. We spent Christmas there with the family (9 people). Nothing is missing, the equipment is outstanding. We could even use the hot tub which was really relaxing. There was firewood for the fireplace. The house was beautifully decorated for Christmas and Hari even put us a fir tree and provided tree decorations. So we didn't have to do without the fir tree. We can very well imagine booking the house again. Wonderful experience !!

A spacious and well-equipped house in a small village in the middle of Friesland. The house is perfect for a family weekend, where all the materials you need are present. Large sitting room with fireplace, hot tub in the garden and a large kitchen to eat together; fine all right! The bedrooms are also neat and spacious. Nearby is the town of Balk (5 minutes drive) for some groceries and a nice cup of coffee at Teernstra. We like to come back in the spring or in the summer!

Nice house for young and old. Very clean and nice reception with local refreshments. Hot tub is a nice extra activity and location is great for a visit to Frisian villages. It was enjoyment!

it´s a really really nice place. very remote, as she writes in the description, but if that is what you want, it´s perfect. it has a restaurant/café just next door and you can do nice long walks in the area.

Fantastic location. In the national park. Canals all around. Own drawbridge. Boat rental in the restaurant around the corner. Plus market 3 km away. Ijsselmeer nearby. Amsterdam 100km away. To relax perfectly.

A wonderful location of the apartment on the canal, only on a narrow drawbridge to reach on foot, surrounded by thatched roofed, great houses ... A heavenly peace, only duck geese and other animal sounds can be heard. In the water village Dwarsgracht there are no passing cars etc ... Simply top, a highlight for cyclists and pedestrians. The morning coffee directly on the canal, in pajamas and thick jacket, was pure enjoyment ... The location, right on / in the National Park Weerribben-Wieden, one of the special areas of the Netherlands and the largest flat bog area in northwestern Europe, is just wonderful. The most beautiful bike rides in a unique nature can start right at the apartment, you do not need the car anymore, at the most to go shopping in Giethoorn. The dinner in the restaurant can be taken if necessary in direct neighborhood. If you want to relax in the midst of unique nature in peace and without hustle and bustle, this is the place for you ... Anyway, I'll come back ...

The apartment is decorated in the style of the room. It is a great price: quality ratio. Everything is there for a wonderful holiday. The location is quiet; ducks and young swans swim past your window. Highly recommended for tranquility.

This is a absolutely amazing and special place. We were staying for four days and will defenetly come back.

Heleens accommodation is located directly on a canal. You can sit beautifully by the water and pass the time. There are bicycles and a canoe at leisure. We really enjoyed the time in Dwarsgracht. Thank you for this great time.

This was our second stay at Bianca’s lovely cottage this year. It is so nice, we were loath to have to depart again. It is clean, warm and very complete kitchen and supplies. Communication with the host is perfect! We travel quite a lot and this will be high on our list of favorite places.

We stayed for one night at Henk-Jan’s place. Henk-Jan is very friendly and welcoming. The bedroom is spacious with a comfortable bed. In the morning, the table was set for breakfast. We enjoyed our stay and recommend this place to others!

So nice and relaxable place

It's great how Henk Jan has arranged the available space in his own house to create privacy for both of them.

Our stay with my girlfriend was super pleasant. Henk was one of the greatest host we ever had. He was super nice and really helpful, giving us some good tips about the area. The room is big enough for a short stay, clean and well furnished. The bathroom is almost brand new and with a large choice of equipment as well as the kitchen. The neighbourhood is a quiet residential area. I definitely recommend this room!

For the price it is really a great place to spend the night. Henk is super hospitable and really a nice host. Everything is clean and even a breakfast was provided. Absolute must!

I strongly recommend this house!! Best location from center! It takes just 15 minutes by walking. And host is very nice guy! He is very welcoming and give me many thing such as breakfast for free. We can have two rooms. So it's good to have rest!

It is definitely worth staying overnight. The cottage is neatly and stylishly decorated. As soon as you arrive, you will receive a warm welcome with prepared drinks, chocolates and a fruit bowl. In addition, there are recommendations with fun activities to do in the area. Everything has been thought of and we enjoyed our overnight stay. Really a great stay!

We enjoyed our stay; the space is very light, has enough space and is also very nicely decorated! Jeroen had very thoughtfully prepared the necessary attentions, the location is very convenient; centrally in Emmeloord, but you are also quickly on your way to, for example, Friesland. So we can continue for a while, so definitely recommended!

We had a nice stay in the small bungalow. The bungalow is well equipped and leaves nothing to be desired for everyday life - you have a small space to prepare food and a large table to sit comfortably. the bed is also spacious and very comfortable. This is the right place for everyone who wants to take a break for a while. Giethoorn, the national park and other sights are within easy reach of the accommodation. The hosts are very hospitable and helpful. All in all recommendable

Marleen's place is wonderful. The house is nearby, where Marleen and her welcoming large family lives. They are very kind people and very accommodating - they even invited me to dinner and to watch a live soccer match together in a nearby town. The chalet is very comfortable, and has everything you might need in such a place, including a little hot plate (which for me counts as a kitchen)! The only thing to note is the large front door you see in the pictures cannot be opened and you must instead use the side door - no big deal. You can rent a bike for €5 a day as well - which is very much worth it to make the trip to the supermarket (about 20 mins. by bike) easier. Do note the bus connection from Zwolle is about 40 minutes, but easy and uncomplicated. The bus stop is about a ten minute walk from the house. I look forward to hopefully coming back here soon.

A beautifully located property surrounded by nature. The room is nicely decorated and kitchen well equipped. It is not far to the national park or to Giethorn. Koos and Marleen were very friendly hosts and could give good advice on excursions in the area.

Host was very friendly and welcoming. Much better value for one person wanting to stay in Urk than any hotel in the area. Keep in mind the room is up two flights of relatively steep stairs.

Rinke and his family are fantastic people with the heart in the right place! Very hospitable, nothing is too much for them. I have enjoyed a wonderful bed and a nice breakfast. I also got some nice chat for free. The village of Urk has a fascinating history and a charming character. Worth repeating!

They are very nice people.When I had some trouble with my bus Martijn helped me a lot. And the apparent was really sweet, cozy and very very clean. I wanted to stay here longer.Very comfortable. Martijn and Linda's accommodation offers a great relaxation factor. The rural location offers many hiking trails and is also not far from larger cities. The communication was great because of the speed and helpfulness with questions or suggestions.

Unfortunately we were only at the accommodation for one day. The apartment is on a beautiful farm. We had a very pleasant stay and a nice welcome. We would love to come back.

Martijns and Linda’s place was one of the greatest Airbnb’s I’ve ever been in! It’s super clean and the beds are very comfortable, you feel like home right away. In this great B & B everything is exactly as the photos promise! The house is very well thought out with a lot of love and super nice details. Everything is very clean. Although it was very cold on our first night (about 0 degrees) we had it warm and comfortable. The breakfast is indeed very rich (rolls, croissants, egg, orange juice, coffee, tea, cold meats, jam, crumble, butter, yogurt, fruit, crunch). There are great excursion tips and TV with German channels. The beds are very comfortable, but you can not create a continuous mattress. There are enough towels, but only relatively small ones. The only thing we did not expect was that the house is only about 6m away from the main house. We had imagined this differently (which is not a problem). All in all a perfect B & B !!!

Very good place to stay!

Dirk is a very warm, helpful host. The room is simply furnished, everything was very clean and the location in the middle of the old town was perfect for exploring Urk.

Simple but sparkling clean accommodation - we had everything we needed for our two day trip to Urk. Dirk was very friendly when he met us at the appartment and there‘s a kitchen with everything you need. You need to climb some stairs, but that was totally fine for us. It’s also just a 2 min walk to the haven of Urk and maybe 10 min to the beach. I can fully recommend staying here when visiting Urk, which is beautiful!

Nice house in a beautiful central location in Friesland with a beautiful garden. There is a small beach within walking distance where you can enjoy the sunset. In the late season it is nice and quiet. We enjoyed!

Linda and Martijn's studio is wonderfully quiet with a beautiful view over the meadows. The interior is very stylish and comfortable, especially the bed is very nice! We would definitely go back if in the area!

We have been received very hospitably at this beautiful location. The Airbnb is spacious, clean and fully equipped. It is a perfect base for a day at Thialf.

Very cozy furnished apartment; fully equipped and very clean. Nice and quiet location. Checking in yourself is very easy and Martijn & Linda are easy to reach and give good tips for trips if you ask. We have a nice walk in the beautiful nature reserve Weerribben and have been a day to Thialf (is a 20 minute drive).

My best ever airbnb experience, their couldn’t have been a better host. It felt better then a 5 star hotel, everything was sparkling clean, a lot of space, comfy bedroom with a nice private living room and very very friendly host.

Francisca was a most gracious host. She was very welcoming and kind and willing to work around our schedule when checking in. Everything was clean and we had plenty of space.

A wonderful, friendly hostess in her element. Which makes a fantastic property available in an insanely elegant neighborhood. An excellent departure point for nearby facilities in the area. Nice accommodation with enough information about the area for executive tourists and / or short-stay guests. With all that little extras that made the stay super pleasant. The breakfast was good and tasty and extras or wishes could be indicated. Phenomenal garden which we (due to the weather) could still enjoy for a short time. The hostess is completely in her element, friendly and caring. As guests, we thought she was a bit like a character in the romantic book series written by Santa Montefiore. A pleasant stay. Definitely!!

We were allowed to spend New Years Eve in Gekes accommodation and really enjoyed the time there! :) The apartment is in a quiet area, yet very close to the city center and the beach. The kitchen is well equipped, the bed is very cozy and the underfloor heating is of course a dream! One should perhaps consider that the refrigerator is in the same room as the bed. We just turned it off at night. We would love to come back!

We spontaneously decided to travel to Lemmer and therefore only booked one day in advance. Everything worked as expected and communication with Geke was excellent. The apartment is in a great location for exploring Lemmer. Definitely worth a visit. Gladly again!

Geke offers a very neat and clean apartment with everything you need. In addition, underfloor heating ensures a pleasant stay on cold days.

Nice and comfortable flat next to the city and the harbour.

The accommodation has a great location and is recommended for anyone who wants to spend a few days in Lemmer. The hostess is very friendly and the apartment is well suited for self-catering and equipped. With the separate entrance, privacy is not an issue. Clearly! We would move back to this apartment.

You can expect a home filled with everything you would need to make your home away from home the place to be. Beds were very comfortable, linens and towels were great. Kitchen was supplied with all we needed for utensils. Perfect size for us and you could definitely house more. A delightful, quiet neighborhood within walking distance of the town and the golf course!

Had a good time at bed and breakfast '' My parents ''. The departure looked clean and tidy and the host was very welcoming and helpful with tips on activities in the area. Such as the watercourse forest, the orchid hooves (<- very nice), Urk, Lemmer, the Weerribben and of course watering horn + the tulips (in the right season). The rooms and bathroom that you may use are only used by yourself. (you have your own back door and key). So nice for the privacy. In short, a nice place for a couple of days with just the two of you or alone.

I had a good stay. The spacious room and the rest of the house are clean tidy. Miranda and her daughter are very hospitable and we had nice conversations. Who should be a night in Emmeloord, this is an excellent option.

From the oepnen the door was friendly Miranda me feel welcome. She helped me bring my riestassen to the room and showed me the bathroom and then she invited me to also sit in the garden. Evening together cozy talk and watched a quiz / played. This is my first experience with a airbnb - and even the first time in six years that I left my home / residence. I can not imagine that I could be released elsewhere was better than here. Again thanks Miranda and your kids for you warma hospitality.

Very nice and quiet place. Those who want to relax and breathe fresh air should definitely use this accommodation. The decor was totally romantic. It felt very comfortable. The hostess was very nice and tried to answer our questions. A bad thing, however, I have to write: Anyone who does not like insects, should possibly seek another accommodation. Because unfortunately there are some spiders in the garden in the countryside. It is also a bit stupid that the toilet and shower are not in the room where you sleep. That makes it a bit awkward, but you can live with it. All around a great place to stay and recommend!

It was one of our best residence in airbnb. Britta is a wonderful woman with kind heart, she is very welcoming and helpful person. We had the chance to stay there for one night, the temperature outside was around 7-13 degrees during the day and night but inside of the accommodation was warm and well isolated, the shower cabin too (warm water and a heater). The bed was very comfortable so we slept very well there. She came in the morning with a wonderful breakfast which was far better than what I expected. Fresh breads, orange juice, hams, eggs, etc. It was around 20 min to Giethoorn by car. 1.5 hour to Amsterdam. Near a beautiful national park. I can strongly recommend her to everyone who wants to experience something different outside the crowded cities.

Staying with Britta and Robert is an absolute joy. They are both so kind and thoughtful with every detail! You stay in your own private room separate from the house, and everything is thought of. The room is in a lovely area of the country, surrounded by lots of cycling paths with amazing views. Breakfast is brought to you each morning, and it is absolutely incredible, with warm breads and homemade jam. Plus the cats and dog are so cute! If you are considering visiting this area, Britta’s is the place to stay.

Really recommended! We arrived in a beautiful house where it was nice and warm, the music was playing and there were some goodies ready. The house is spotless, nicely furnished and fully equipped. Perfect for enjoying the peaceful and green surroundings or (like us) doing nothing at all. The look in the cowshed made our stay complete.

It is a beautiful house with everything you need. We have been there for a week for Christmas. A nice view and we enjoyed the peace and the floors were nice and warm. With all kinds of animals in the area. There were also a whole bunch of storks in the meadow that we looked at. And also had a tour in the cowshed. There were 230 cows and calves. We would like to come back again in the summer to walk in the nature reserves.

Beautiful house in the heart of Urk!

We stayed over the weekend in the house of Johannes. The cottage is really "cute" as well as the place Urk. The neighborhood is super helpful and friendly. On occasion, we will certainly spend a few more days there.

We really enjoyed our stay in Johannes and Maria's house. The communication with them was easy. I'll definitely recommand their charming house and lovely Urk for a visit.

A nice house in the middle of the old Urk, very quiet and comfortable. In the upper floor, however, you can only stand upright if you are smaller than 1.80m ;-) The car must be in the parking lot, not directly at the house ... Everything important can be reached on foot - great bakeries and on Fridays a great fish buffet. Any time!

Cute, small cottage in a picturesque small town with many shops and nice neighbors. Everything in town is within walking distance.

Top Location in a wonderful City!

We had a very relaxing and wonderful time in Urk. It was our second visit to this Holiday home and just like the first time, it me all our expectations. Well worth a visit!!

It is a very nice pippo car with exactly enough for 1 person. Everything is in it and with the heater it is warm in no time. The area is also beautiful. I recommend the place to anyone who wants a small mini-retreat with lots of peace, nature and space.

We had a few wonderful days in the cozy trailer. The environment is quiet and beautiful. Pure nature. Just right to relax. The location is good if you have a car. You can get to Lemmer or Guithorn quickly and easily. The yard on which the trailer is located is very beautiful. There are a few animals (horses, goats, chickens, rabbits etc.). Above all, we really enjoyed the view from the trailer. Thank you, we will gladly come back !!!

Very cute small house, surrounded by lovely dutch nature, close to a beautiful forest and a lake. Everywhere horses, cows, sheep and birds, old trees, perfect to calm down and relax. Dymphy and Denis are great, very helpful and open!

Very nice, cuddly and clean accommodation with air conditioning. Everything you need for a few nice days. In addition, on sunny days the beach in Lemmer highly recommended (also with dog).

The space is small but cozy, nicely decorated and very clean! The box bed makes it very attractive and the mattress is wonderful!
