Historical Water Tower Montabaur

Built in 1879, the listed water tower in Montabaur offers a special and cosy ambience. In a prime location in Montabaur, between the ICE train station and the old town, pretty much everything the city has to offer is within walking distance. The tower is historically preserved, but still offers many modern amenities. Around 1990, it was completely renovated and converted into living space. In 2023 it was renovated with a new bathroom. The stylishly furnished old building apartment – 110 m², high ceilings & parquet floor – consists of a large living and dining room (alone that is 40 sqm) with terrace & garden access, a cinema/sports/guest room, a large bedroom, a kitchen with also access to the garden and a bathroom, equipped with an extra portion of nostalgic charm. There is also a large garden & lots of greenery! The only downside – the highway/road traffic can be clearly heard in the garden.

The 95 m2 of living space includes a spacious bedroom with workspace, a kitchen, a bathroom with separate laundry room and a generous living room. The newly renovated balcony with a view of Little Tokyo offers plenty of space for sunbathing

The apartment is located in a listed, former forester's lodge, less than 200m from the Rhine and its cycle path. It is located on the edge of the forest and exudes a unique charm. The apartment has a kitchen, with fridge, hob and oven. There are also two 1.40 x 2.00 m beds. You can either end the evening comfortably on the small terrace at the entrance or with a film in the home cinema with a projector, screen and 5.1 system.
