Very quietly located apartment on the edge of the forest in the small district of Altneudorf of the Odenwald town of Schönau in the district of Heidelberg. On 50 sqm we offer a place with cozy warmth due to the included fireplace. The area offers numerous beautiful hiking trails, castles and other excursion destinations, etc. In the summer months (June/July/August/possibly Sept.), our sunken pool (heated by solar - water temperature therefore depends on the hours of sunshine) can be used in the garden.

Small cottage on the Dilsberg

Small house within the beautiful, old fortress of Dilsberg, near Heidelberg. The house is furnished with great attention to detail and is part of the old fortress wall. Renovated in 2019, only ecological materials were used. On the ground floor, there is a living room, kitchen, hallway and bathroom. Bedrooms (mattresses 08/2025 replaced) small anteroom are accessible on the upper floor via a narrow staircase. There are two wood stoves. Firewood is there. NO WI-FI!

Come, hike, feel comfortable and relax, recharge your batteries, find peace and feel safe in our ground floor apartment, which we have renovated mindfully. We bought and built the farm 11 years ago, gardening and living here very happy ever since, despite all the tasks that are still waiting. Meanwhile, our daughter Nele's family also lives on the farm. Nele is also always responsive. You will find us on the outskirts of Wald-Erlenbach.

The farm has a very beautiful old courtyard and is surrounded by its own buildings. The vacation home is ideal for large groups, family meetings, hiking groups or even bike tours. If you want, this is the ideal place to relax. This is not the right location for parties and loud gatherings.
