Rustic and Historic Old Verdi Hotel. The only Hotel in Verdi. Built in 1935. Main saloon built in 1903. Walking distance to Sasquatch Tavern, Verdi Distillery, and Chop 40 Restaurant. 5 minutes on the backroad to Boomtown and Cabella's. There is wildlife in area. Guests are advised to make noise at night as there are bear in the warmer seasons. Bucks are frequently grazing in the yard along with doe and fawns. Please don’t feed them and remember whilst they are beautiful, they are still a wild.

As our lives have gotten busier we have decided to share our special place with other like minded others who enjoy the mountain life and activities.

We are centrally located between Lake Tahoe, Virginia City, Reno, and Carson City, all 20 - 40 miles. You will have a private room and will share a bath only if second bedroom is rented out. The home is also shared with our dogs (2), and cats (3,) who are not allowed in your room.

This rustic mountain retreat is right on the Sky Tavern ski hill. Perfect for those who love the back county and want a place to ski in/ski out, back/cross country ski, snow shoe, ice hockey, ice skate and sled in the winter - and in the summer, mountain bike and/or hike. Only another mile or so to Mount Rose ski resort and 11 short miles to gorgeous Lake Tahoe. This place is full of mountain charm - built in 1947 for the Sky Tavern ski school director.
