Holiday rentals in Lake Tahoe

Tour-goers will meet their guide on Tahoe City's Commons Beach 15 minutes prior to launch (2 hours before sunset). We'll paddle South towards Sunnyside talking about Lake Tahoe's History while the sun begins to sink. After an hour of paddling South we'll pause for a brief photo opportunity and then turn around for our paddle back to Commons Beach. As we near our end point the setting sun will color the horizon and glassy smooth waters to deep pinks and purples. You'll get dramatic photos and an unforgettable experience for all! Start your day off at our Sport Shop, where I will personally fit you to the bike that suits you best! After a brief safety and usage tutorial you will take off to Bike Big Blue! Our recommended ride starts at the Hyatt Regency Lake Tahoe Resort sports shop. Ride the Lakeshore car-free bike path out to the all-new East Shore Bike Trail, newly renovated in 2019! After the two bike paths intersect at Nevada State Route 28, riders can safely journey southwest for 2.5 miles out towards Sand Harbor State Park, taking in all the majestic views Lake Tahoe has to offer. You have the option to stop and lounge at Memorial beach, Hidden beach, or San Hardbor. Many vistas dot the shoreline for ample resting and photo opportunities. Park the bikes (locks included) and check out Hidden and Memorial Beaches- two Tahoe gems! Turn around near Sand Harbor and double back- if you’d like we can take a stop at the Tunnel Creek Café, where you can grab refreshments and food! Then we will ride back passing the Hyatt for a visit to Billionaires Row. This tree-lined, waterfront road is brimming with draw-dropping, opulent but earthy homes, best viewed from the seat of a bike. We will meet at the trail head near beautiful Emerald Bay. Start with about 2,000 ft of elevation gain in the first two miles. We will take breaks for epic photos and water and eventually end up at a secluded high alpine lake for a swim and lunch. There are rocks to lay on, and jump off of plus beautiful landscapes for photo opportunities and good vibes! Lunch will be provided by your hosts, Nikki & Chad. Enjoy the peace and beauty of Lake Tahoe from the beach. Our practice takes place on Nevada Beach (a state park) before the bustle of the day begins. You'll be guided through an all level asana practice while gazing upon the lake and mountains. Other things to note Bring a beach towel or blanket instead of a mat. Check the weather before booking. In the case of high winds, cold temperatures, rain or snow we will move the practice indoors to Lake Tahoe Yoga.
