Healthy time-out in nature – in the middle of the Soonwald! Away from the hectic world and in the heart of the imposing forest lies our romantic log cabin. Through the large windows you can look out into the greenery from all sides. Here you can recharge your batteries with the power of nature. Absolutely CO2-free! Heat and water come from state-of-the-art renewable sources. The house is directly connected to the magnificent nature park Soonwald-Nahe and the many well-signposted hiking trails.

Liebe Gäste Wenn ihr eine Unterkunft auf eurer Reiseetappe oder einen Ausgangspunkt für Wanderungen, Motorradtouren oder Radtouren in erholsamer Atmosphäre sucht, dann freue ich mich euch begrüßen zu dürfen. Euch erwartet ein gemütliches, ca. 25 qm großes Zimmer mit eigenem Badezimmer. Im Garten steht euch eine kleine Küche zur Verfügung. Mosel 15 km , Hängeseilbrücke Geierlay 20 km. Es gibt viele Traumschleifen in unserer Gegend, die zum Erwandern einladen. Ich freue mich auf euren Besuch 😊

"Hunsrück Valley View" Holiday Home with SAUNA

A two-bedroom stylish and comfortable holiday apartment for up to four, with a terrace and picture-perfect view of the valley and mountains below. A cedar barrel sauna is available (at extra cost). The entire apartment was renovated in March 2024, including a new sauna oven (it gets really, really hot now), acoustic paneling, new kitchen with Bosch appliances (oven, dishwasher), rain-water shower, a washing machine with dryer, and new beds. You can also visit our herd of Scottish Highlanders!

The Kirchberg vacation region "in the middle of the Hunsrück" - surrounded by the Moselle, Rhine, Nahe and Saar river valleys, is one of the most beautiful and interesting natural landscapes in Rhineland-Palatinate. The vacation home is centrally located but quiet in the middle of the village. Restaurants and bike rentals are available. Kirchberg is an ideal starting point for hiking and cycling tours, climbing, exploring the suspension rope bridge or visiting natural and adventure pools.

In the high district of Zell-Barl, located on the edge of the forest, this bright 2-room apartment with views of the large garden is located on the upper floor. From here, all the sights and hiking trails of the Moselle are within easy reach. The wine culture typical of the Middle Moselle can be experienced in all its facets through numerous offers and events. We have expanded the former granary under the roof of the old customs castle: 3 double rooms, 2 bathrooms and 1 combined kitchen/living room, ideally suited for a cozy stay with a historic ambiance. The flower corner in the courtyard with table and benches is also at your disposal. The city, park and pier are within walking distance. Welcome at "Haus Hermann" – a place for wellness & adventure with modern facilities. Enjoy the nice view and find your getaway to wind down & relax in our officially certified 5-star holiday home. The house was built in 1964 by our grandparents and was substantially renovated in 2023. Its highlights are: sauna, jacuzzi, gym, gas barbecue, diverse media & gaming offers (Smart TVs, soundbar, Nintendo Switch, Netflix, 150 TV channels, foosball table, table tennis, Darts, board games)

Holiday apartment "Haus am See"

Have fun with the whole family in this stylish and newly (2024/25) developed penthouse apartment with balcony located on Lake Kastellaun with direct access to the forest. The bike and hiking trail to mills and Mosel leads right by the house and offers many possibilities for an active vacation in the Hunsrück. The old town and castle ruins are only a 5-minute walk with restaurants and shopping. A large playground is only 200 m away. The hosts live in the lower part of the house.

Our wooden house (on the outskirts) offers tranquility and relaxation on 110 m². The terraces, a large balcony and a beautiful garden guarantee relaxing hours. From here you can start hiking, biking and sightseeing tours. The Hunsrück offers an infinite number of beautiful excursion destinations. The Moselle and Rhine are very close. Trier, Mainz, Koblenz, Cochem, as well as the German gemstone city of Idar-Oberstein, to name just a few examples, are also in the vicinity.

Whether hiking, cycling, day trips on the Rhine and Moselle or just relaxing - everyone gets their money's worth with us. Your four-legged friend can also move freely in the completely fenced garden and you can relax and enjoy the tranquility without traffic (outskirts location) on the terrace.

The house has an open bedroom, a bathroom with shower and toilet and offers a beautiful view over the fields and the Baybach valley.
