Our fourth Air BnB property, Shady Rest #4, is located in a small, quiet, residential town home complex, minutes from historic downtown and only about 3 miles from Parris Island MCRD. It is approx. 1200 sq. feet of comfortable living space, with 2 bedrooms, 2 1/2 baths, a fully equipped kitchen, and a roomy living space with a sleeper sofa. We are experienced Air BnB hosts who have reached Superhost status due to our attention to every detail to make your stay a comfortable and enjoyable one.

The property is located on a quiet dead end street with a view of the Beaufort River, salt marshes, and ancient live oaks filled with Spanish moss that sways with the almost constant sea breeze. This is the perfect centrally located place to call home while visiting. It’s just 10 minutes from Henry C. Chambers Waterfront Park, downtown Beaufort, and Parris Island. It is walkable to restaurants (Fishcamp on 11th and Shellring Ale Works are local favorites), Cypress Wetlands, and the Boardwalk.

A short walk or bike ride to downtown Beaufort restaurants and shopping, it is also just steps away from the Spanish Moss Trail and a short drive to Parris Island. The Cottage has space to park your boat trailer and is one mile from the Downtown Marina and boat landing. A scenic drive through our barrier islands will take you to the beautiful beaches and trails at Hunting Island State Park - complimentary guest pass provided.
