Baroque apartment at the Old Town Hall 1

A very special apartment in a dream location with a view of Bamberg Town Hall, stylishly furnished with antiques. The front building was erected in 1530, and the water-side building followed in 1640. Originally a half-timbered house that was plastered during the Baroque period in the 17th century. The façade was restored in May 2026 with great attention to detail and now shines again in all its glory next to the town hall. The house was bought by my grandparents in 1968. Before that, it had been a pharmacy for 200 years.

Our home is located in franconia: known for its tasty cheap food, an amazing nature and our historically important and our beautiful city Bamberg. Obergreuth offers a good starting point for exploring around Bamberg, Franconian Switzerland and various beer gardens.

My comfortable apartment is located directly in the garden district of Bamberg, with bus connection in 3 minutes. Picturesquely located amidst many small gardens. The shops serving everyday needs are in the immediate vicinity (5-minute walk).
