Construction trailer in the garden On the heights of the Hunsrück, the construction trailer stands in our garden overlooking fields, forest and sunset. From here you can walk on hiking trails to the Mosel or the Rhine. The construction trailer has a bed, small kitchen and a wood stove. It is 100 steps to the shower and 200 to the toilet! "Hunsrück Valley View" Holiday Home with SAUNA

A two-bedroom stylish and comfortable holiday apartment for up to four, with a terrace and picture-perfect view of the valley and mountains below. A cedar barrel sauna is available (at extra cost). The entire apartment was renovated in March 2024, including a new sauna oven (it gets really, really hot now), acoustic paneling, new kitchen with Bosch appliances (oven, dishwasher), rain-water shower, a washing machine with dryer, and new beds. You can also visit our herd of Scottish Highlanders!

Located in Blankenrath, the holiday apartment Lora has everything you need for a comfortable holiday. The 90 m² property consists of a living room with 3 sofa beds (2 for one person and one for 2 people), a fully-equipped kitchen, 1 bedroom and 1 bathroom and can therefore accommodate 6 people. Additional amenities include high-speed Wi-Fi (suitable for video calls), a smart TV with streaming services as well as children's books and toys. A baby cot and a high chair are also available.

Our vacation home is located in a wildly romantic side valley between Hunsrück and Moselle and is only 9 km away from the well-known wine town of Zell Moselle. In Altlay, about 1.5 km away, there is a restaurant. Our vacation home is surrounded by forest and meadows. The Altlayer Bach flows right by the house. The picturesque, 200-year-old quarry stone building was renovated in 2022 and has a new bathroom, kitchen, underfloor heating and an open fireplace.

We didn't have the heart to tear down Grandma Hilde's house. So we renovated the house for 1 year and got as much charm as possible. Enjoy your own hideaway with a large sun terrace, the old half-timbered but modern facilities. The house is at the narrowest point of Starkenburg, so that you can enjoy the distant view towards the Mosel river and the beautiful Ahringstal. Ideally located for hiking and cycling. Geierlay suspension rope bridge is only 7 km away. Moselle is about 15 km away. In the village, there is a restaurant, a kebab snack bar and shopping. A gas station, banks, doctors, as well as a pharmacy are also on site.
