Description Bed and breakfast In a Glasshouse is located in Oostwoud, in the heart of Westfriesland. It is a cottage-style home located behind our glass studio, in the deep waterfront garden. It can be rented as a B&B but also as a vacation home for a longer period. There is, among other things, a Grand Cafe De Post around the corner where you can eat delicious food and a pizza eatery Giovanni Midwoud that also delivers. A motorboat is available for a fee. Outside you will find the private garden, with a shed for your bicycles. You can enjoy the peaceful surroundings on the terrace. A good base from which to explore the surrounding area. You are centrally located between the cozy and atmospheric towns of Alkmaar, Hoorn and Schagen. Within 20 km you are at the sea, but also at the IJsselmeer. Best by own wheels.

A pond with new ideas, beautiful experiences, encounters and relaxation that has not been felt for a long time. In this cottage, your faithful four-legged friend is allowed to come along! The fireplace, a nice terrace deck with luxurious outdoor furniture, a record player with surprising LPs, a well-filled game box. Enjoy!

It is a 300-meter walk from the public swimming pool and supermarket and is fully furnished and equipped with every comfort. Our location gives you all the possibilities to explore the area and is very centrally located for fun trips to the beach, the dunes, the IJsselmeer or cities such as Schagen, Alkmaar, Haarlem and Amsterdam. The cottage is located in a relaxing area just 20 minutes from the beach, dunes and Alkmaar city center. Huisje aan het water 58 is the ultimate place for families and nature and water lovers. One of the hotspots: Located on a lake that flows into open water.

Our B&B is located in the heart of Waarland, with Alkmaar, Schagen and Heerhugowaard are within cycling distance. It is a guest house for 4 people, suitable for a family with older children. There is no train station in Waarland, and there are no buses in the evening. Without a car, we may not be the right location. For stays longer than 5 days, a discount is given, but you must provide your own breakfast.
