Lovely cottage of 90m ² with loft in quiet surroundings, close to the fjord and a lovely common area with a bathing jetty during the summer months. There is no water view from the house. Everything is included in the price, electricity, water, towels, bed linen, dish towels, and basic foods such as oil, sugar and spices. The wood-burning stove is the main source of heating, there is electric heating in the bathroom some underfloor heating that is on when the power is cheap. The garden is completely secluded with room for games, sports, and games.

The house contains 3 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms and a very large living room and kitchen overlooking the water. The cottage is located at the end of a private road. The cottage is ideal for families with children and couples who want peace and quiet and to be at one with nature. From the house, it is only 50 meters down to the beach with perfect swimming opportunities.

During the season, Orø offers a number of cafes and restaurants, a cozy mini zoo, playground and child-friendly beach. The cottage is located on the edge of a small peaceful forest with birds and deer. Large lawn, surrounded by trees. Good for playing and playing ball. There is a sun terrace with beautiful sun loungers and a covered terrace that provides space for cozy activities. From the house, it is 5 minutes to the water on foot to your own beach and 5 minutes by car to Orø's best and child-friendly beach.

Lav mad i køkkenet, på grillen eller over bål. Vi har får, kælegrise, masser af høns, kaniner og frække katte og fra april kommer der små lam ude på marken. Her smelter natur, badestrand, historie og fint fiskeri efter havørred sammen i perfekt forening! (Review March 2020)' Our summerhouse is situated on a small island, Oroe, in Isefjorden. It sits almost at the end of a gravel road, on a bluff, with direct access to the fjord from the house. Oroe is about 1,5 hour’s drive from Copenhagen, and 1 hour from Roskilde.

Idyllic former farmhouse in Danish countryside

The house is a traditonal Danish countryside house, 20 km from Roskilde. Here you can enjoy the Danish “hygge”, with peace and nature that you’ll find nowhere else. Relax on the terrasse in the garden, walk in the woods or to Gershøj beach. Go biking on the “fjordsti” which follows Roskilde and Ise fjord, just 1.5 km from the house. Bikes can be borrowed here for free. In winter, you can make a fire. Breakfast and dinner can be arranged upon request and against fees.
