The Rockridge Cottage is a lovely stand alone backhouse in the most central location in the East Bay. Enjoy the peaceful backyard and privacy of your own home and be steps away from the world class restaurants and cafes of College Avenue. Located just three blocks away from the Rockridge BART Station, the Rockridge Cottage is only 25 minutes from Downtown San Francisco and just down the road from the UC Berkeley campus. Rockridge Garden Cottage

The cottage is newly remodeled as of March 2022 and now has its own kitchen and bathroom. It is a separate unit in my backyard with vaulted ceilings which gives a spacious feel and french doors that open onto the lush garden. Queen size high end natural organic fiber bed (Earthsake.com), with down comforter + 4 pillows. Dining table and stools. LCD TV, clothes valet, work desk and great internet. Its very quiet and my guests seem to love having a private retreat type space to themselves.

Built in 1925, Maybecks' “Cubby” is your private, rustic, 750 sq ft, carriage house located less than a mile from Cal. Homey and basic - the deck is great for lunch, dinner, or just hanging out. It's an easy walk down to the gourmet ghetto, Thursday Markets, buses and BART. Carport provided, a car is recommended (hey it's located in the hills.) Not baby proofed, minimal fencing - sorry, no pets, babies or toddlers. Smoke free, no butts about it. Sorry, no loud music, or large gatherings.

Hike up to a well designed, small-but-mighty modern cabin with fast WiFi, your own hot tub and a panoramic view spanning across the bay from the Golden Gate to the San Mateo bridge. 108 stairs lead up to the Aerie, so if you don’t want to get your steps in, this is probably not the space for you! 15 min from OAK and city life, but a world away. Sunsets are glorious here. The Aerie is a special spot just for 1 or 2, so leave the posse behind. Registered guests only.

Ample street parking and very close to public transportation.

Berkeley Bitty House - a little bit of home

The Berkeley Bitty House is our cozy little detached guesthouse, located in a quiet residential neighborhood that is a few minutes drive to campus and within walking distance to many landmarks. Although itty bitty, it feels luminous and private, with a large skylight and windows that overlook a private deck with hot tub. The view of the bay from the private deck is breathtaking.
