Description Bed and breakfast In a Glasshouse is located in Oostwoud, in the heart of Westfriesland. It is a cottage-style home located behind our glass studio, in the deep waterfront garden. It can be rented as a B&B but also as a vacation home for a longer period. There is, among other things, a Grand Cafe De Post around the corner where you can eat delicious food and a pizza eatery Giovanni Midwoud that also delivers. A motorboat is available for a fee. The apartment is located on the ground floor directly behind the huge sea dike of Den Helder. Here are beautiful sea views every day. The best view during the Sail Den Helder event! In the always cool sea breeze, the tough history of the area can be experienced up close, as well as the city center or the relaxed island of Texel. Within less than 1.5 hours drive (!) you will find some of the best tourist attractions in the Netherlands - such as Amsterdam. All well worth great day trips!
