Renovated and opened in August 2025, the cottage is located in the great outdoors overlooking the vast rural landscape and the Nasu mountain range. The cottage is fully equipped with a covered barbecue space/convenience store, and a 5-minute drive to the supermarket. It is also ideal for making wonderful memories with your family and friends, with excellent access to the popular Kinomata River, various sightseeing spots, and day-use hot springs. In addition, there are 5 buildings (A-E buildings) on the premises of about 500 tsubo, so if you wish, we can accommodate up to 40 people or more. Please contact us.

Yugenbo Cottage is uniquely situated within the heart of Nikko's UNSECO World Heritage Site and Toshogu Shrine, and walking distance to everything in the area, including restaurants, and the Station. Experience Japan’s culture and history all just minutes from the front door. Located on the site of a former priest’s residence, the 3 bedroom house has been carefully restored combining modern conveniences with traditional antiques and art, all surrounded by a lovely Japanese garden and a patio.
